send Channel 4 an email and ask them why you've been charged if your vote was rejected.

Watch Ch4 just now as well, they're going on about the money made by 'reality tv'. Very interesting.

I wouldn't have bothered wasting my time or money.

I text voted twice a few weeks ago, and when I got my phone bill yesterday morning, I was charged £1.12 for each text! Im sending a copy of my phone bill to channel 4 asking for my money back.

Im not bothered really as its only £1.12, its just the point that it said 25p and i've been overcharged!

Think the text vote lines close 7:30.

It's 25p plus the cost of your normal text message!

if you've been charged 112p for each text, then the outstanding 87p has come from your network provider. the cost of the text is 25p plus whatever your provider wants to charge.

It almost sounds as if you were abroad when you did this. no UK provider charges 87p for a text.

Did a similar thing to vote for another show using my BTCellnet phone (pay as you go) and I got charged a pound for a ten pence vote.

I'm sure Oftel would be interested to hear about this - seems like a lot of people are having problems from the complaints on here. You can complain online, I think...
