I guess you will not be watching the world cup final either.
Its not always about winning, if you only watched for one person then perhaps you should not have been watching at all.
New alliances will develop, more characters will start to come out. I think some of the HM's have been playing a waiting game.
Alex has been outspoken and it worked for him. Lets see some of the others come out of their shells.

Spencer was about as popular opponent as Alex is going to face. If he can beat Spanky he can beat anyone. I know it's still relatively early but has BB3 already been decided?

Oh I was so down after Brazil beating England this morning...but now I'm right back up again
No doubt there'll be numerous Spencer fans claiming it was fix blah, blah, blah. But I think the fact it was such a close vote was an accurate representation of opinion on this forum. From the postings I have read - a great bulk of people liked both HMs and wanted them both to stay to the end...but had a slight preference for one over the other e.g. Alex was 1st favourite, Spencer was 2nd or vice versa.
I am in no doubt that the right choice has been made by the nation. Although Spencer had his funny moments, Alex has been far more consistently entertaining.
I hope those who don' particularly like Alex keep watching - because I think we've learnt from previous BBs that you do need someone in the house that you "love to hate". Think of the vacuum that was in the house when Stuart/Penny left BB2 and the same for Caroline/Nick in BB1.
Personally, I love Alex (in a platonic sense of course!) and I'm sure (like Chris Moyles) I'll continue to laugh out loud with/at him.

It seems clear to me that the public are obviously going to keep Alex adele etc in the house and i don't want to watch a show that has very few likable characters in. Most people don't actually like Alex that are laughing at him, not with him.
