There is an article in the Daily Telegraph today about ITV launching a service where you can watch special episodes of Corrie/news/weather/sports made for your mobile:

Yeah it does sound expensive.
It will be nice to get more information on it. The article says they will be specially made for mobiles, so they will probably cut up normal episodes of something.

I should imagine it would be too expensive at first. However I don;t really think they'll do mini episodes because that would be too time consuming for the cast and production crew IMO.

I'd like to see previews for the coming week though so I know when to watch and when the twins are on......

Yeah thats a good idea.
They could do a spoiler episode once a week for the following week. or the other way round, at the end of everyweek, to quick catch-up episode of the previous week.

Well some services are going to be free, doubt the soaps content will be free though.

How much would you pay then for a week preview. 50p maybe, 75p max I'd say.

Yeah i agree with that. I certainly wouldn't pay over £1.
Saying that though, i probably wouldn't even pay at all as i probably wouldn't bother downloading them.

From the Daily Mail:

ITV has also launched a new service which allows mobile phone users to watch highlights or footage of favourite programmes such as This Morning, Coronation Street, and I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!
So it looks like the mobisodes will be small little episodes featuring the highlights.
