Even Spencer seemed a little unsteady in the interview. Like Lee, he clearly looked to the audience to try and gauge what was the right reply.

Interestingly, Davina didn' t ask him who his favorite HM was or who he thought would win.

Sorry d-g, I must have been confused by the title of this thread.

jack

But, at the end of the day, aren't we all out to impress?

Think before you reply

Yes Jack, you are a genius and I love you too, but it wouldn't have hurt Spencer to be a bit nicer would it?
I like nice, kind men, like

I agree. There is no harm in being nice. I cant understand the appeal in someone who is blunt and seemingly uncompassionate, which Spencer seemed to be in his interview. He doesnt have to like Kate, but he seemed quite arrogant about it, and he could have been more sympathetic

I thought the interview just proved exactly what he was like to be truthful. All looks and no personality. Don't get me wrong, Spenny is a gorgeous looking guy, but that isn't enough to win BB. Had he taken different attitude to things, he'd still be there.

It's quite funny watching E4 right now. Kate, Jonny and PJ holding an inquest in the poor bedroom. They look totally foxed as to how the hell Alex beat Spencer. Especially funny seeing as they're saying about the rows he's had.

I'm going off the beaten track here. I'm frankly disappointed that Spenny seemed to make little or no effort during his interview.

To be honest, I'm glad he isn't in there now, 'cos the thought of him representing BB for a year is quite scary

Spencer acted like he fancied her sometimes, you can't deny that (in fact you probably can coz you are Father Jack and you seem to be able to do anything on here!)

Did you really think spencer would say yes it's the real thing live on tv, if anything develops it'll be away from our prying eyes, he was just keeping he's cards close to his chest. The maybe comment at the end and we'll go to scotland should suffice for all the romantics.

Of course he was unsteady. Imagine the environment he's been in for weeks, then imagine what he walks out the door and encounters: huge cheering crown, and some woman shoving a mike in his face. I think most people would be fazed by that. (I'd shit my pants!)

substitute for your word "interestingly", my words: "Because she's such a poor interviewer".

I was really shocked though at how niave Spencer was about Jade which really makes you question who's on the ball in the house.

I think he'll get quite a shock when he watches the videos back.

I am sad to see him go. He is the only one who actually had the balls to stand up to BB. He had a great sense of humour.

Spencer, you are most admired this evening.
Yep, totally agree, what a kewl dude! - can just picture him with a cheroot hanging from his lips, eyes half closed - a younger version of Clint Eastwood........saying "It's time to get out of Dodge'

I don't see what was so wrong about Spencer in his interview. We know he's not an all-singing happy-clappy type, why on earth would he change ?.

He called BB on their shameful pushing of the great romance that never was. He hasn't offended Kate, because she said pretty much the same earlier in the day.

He failed to see that Jade's conversation resulted in him being left behind in hell, and Davina poor interviewer that she is, didn't get it across properly.

I think he is v. gutted to be out - just think, he wanted it bad enough that he deliberately restricted his romantic liasons before entering the house, so as to lessen scandal stories. That is planning.

Spencer, savvy operator that you are, may you make lots of dosh from the coming gravy train.

frankly, I think we were laffing AT Spencer, not with him. To that extent he was and will continue to be an idle, unwashed, smelly, arrogant, boozing, going nowhere bloke... which is a real shame because with some thought and application he could be a seriously interesting and attractive man. One day he will grow up.

I think Jade had him fooled, along with PJ and maybe Kate. Adele, Sophie and I think maybe Alex have her sussed. Not sure about Jonny and Tim.

Nominations could be interesting, although it'll depend on the task as well.

He may have "acted like" he fancied her (in your eyes) but then my idea of "acting like" might be different from yours. I'd be interested in what you saw as the behaviour of someone fancying someone else.

Nevertheless, I can tell if someone "really" fancies someone (the main tell-tale is eye contact), and I've known all along that Spencer had no romantic feelings for Kate.

Do you think I fancy you?

but he was a normal kind of kid.. unlike the alex's, tim's, lee's etc etc..

id like to see a BB with all normal kids in... and not any with the silver spoon in thier mouths.

Yup, me too. I guess it depends on your idea of 'humour' though.

And me. I had him down for being reasonably switched on, but anyone who can't see through Miss Piggy isn't smart by any measure.
