I'm not too sure about this. Spencer (apart from when riled) hasn't made it a habit of badmouthing anyone. Maybe he just doesn't have an axe to grind and doesn't want to slag off the other housemates? Just a thought.

He alternatively showed tender sides and willingness to join in the bullying of Alex. Spencer could turn out to be a nice guy or a cynical tuned out sod. He's a case where you wish there was a version of BB as "Seven Up" [the documentary that filmed a group of kids every 7 years to track their life-development]. [quote] [b] id like to see a BB with all normal kids in... and not any with the silver spoon in thier mouths.[b] I'd like to see a BB that didn't allow HMs who had previously been on real-tv shows [PJ, Tim] or who had agents at any previous point [Allison, Johnny] or even those who've been professional models [Alex. Kate]. |

He has seemed (to me!) to be reasonably tactful, apart from when Alex didn't choose either him or PJ to go on to the rich side last week. I just think it came across like he didn't want to be interviewed and was trying to shut down each question as it came. Then again, maybe I'm just as naive!

I'd be interested in what you saw as the behaviour of someone fancying someone else. Nevertheless, I can tell if someone "really" fancies someone (the main tell-tale is eye contact), and I've known all along that Spencer had no romantic feelings for Kate. Do you think I fancy you? I don't know about you but during the "interviews" I'm sitting there (or here, actually) thinking "ask him more about that", or " ask him about such and such". And she just goes onto a completely different subject...arrgh I think dermot is much better at making his subjects relaxed, why can't he do the eviction show?:'( jack |

The thing I like about Dermot's interviews is that he interacts more and is really enthusiastic, like he really wants to know.
Davina just sounds like she is asking what someone is telling her to ask, and not really getting into it. I seem to remember the first couple of years she was really into it and asking loads and loads of really good questions; I don't think it was just my imagination! |

Originally posted by Father Jack I think the other way about, I don't like the way Dermot interviewed Sunita or Sandy, and really could not imagine him doing a Friday night eviction. I like Davina's style of interviewing, and think she's a good interviewer, but it's possible that she's not too fond of the people this year. She was fine with Lynne and Alison, and even managed to get something out of Lee, but Spencer acted like he couldn't be arsed so she probably thought the same. I think dermot is much better at making his subjects relaxed, why can't he do the eviction show?:'( As for her looking a little 'down', did it occur to anyone that maybe she's just having a bad day, or not feeling great? |

I remember Davina saying when the series started, she was going to give 'the performance of her life'!!!........
What happened to that idea then? |
