I spotted something very strange on last night's pre-eviction show (the 8:30 one). About 9 and a half minutes into the show, Davina is saying "9:35pm. Housemates on the poor side were given 12 bottles of Japanese beer for completing the task". They're shown sitting around the table in the kitchen, with Alex standing a bit further back through the bars wearing a red top.

Just as davina is saying the word "beer", Alex instantly vanishes off screen as if there'd been a bad cut. His reflection in one of the mirrors also vanishes.

What's strange however is that all the people in the foreground carry on as normal - they don't seem to have been edited at all. Tim can be seen dropping/throwing something on the table during this cut - nothing seems abnormal there.

I've watched this several times now since I still have a recording. It seems really strange that they let something like this through.

Could this be a subliminal message from the Big Brother team?

I thought I noticed that as well, but haven't seen a repeat or anything to check! It's probably just coincidence that the others appear to be unaffected by the cut - it is quite a wide angle and you couldn't see that much detail really.

I've watched it many times - not one of the people in the foreground seems to jump (with the possiblity of PJ, who turns his head suddenly).

I guess it was a bad edit - but it's an amazing coincidence that the foreground had changed so little during the cut.

I didn't see that, but my flatmate mentioned it at the time.

Probably a cut, editing out some boring bits or swearing. Alex must have got up during the cut and gone somewhere else.

Supposedly the most common 'ghost' sighting is that of a living person, often people seeing themselves (and I'm not talking about near death experiences) so maybe this BB house is haunted or Alex can do trans-thingy meditation displacement lol!

I've just gone back and watched it again frame by frame. I'm more convinced now that it was deliberate and not a bad cut.

The lighting around where Alex was standing changed subtly when he vanishes, as if that part of the frame was changed, but the rest wasn't.

I was wrong about PJ's (actually it was Spencer now that I've reviewed the clip) head moving - that happens about half a second after the cut - absolutely nothing changes noticeabley between the two frames in the foreground where the others are sitting around the table, but Alex vanishes!

I don't know why they put this shot in, but this wasn't a mistake or a bad edit.

Very wierd! Just found it on my recording of the show, hadn't noticed it before. If people really want it, I might be able to sort out a video capture on Monday, but won't have access to a PC with a capture card until then.

The real people just turn up on eviction night - someone turned the Alex hologram off early by mistake.

I suddenly realised I taped the show last night because Iw as out. I looked through it and was spooked. I captured to file. To downalod Right click and save target as (you have to right click and save target as or it won't download). Alex is next to the pillar BTW

That is pretty freaky. It looks like Alex goes outside becuase you can just see the light reflecting on the patio door change after he disappears.
