The only disappointing piece of news here is the return of Bruce Forsyth ( & even Tess Daly to some extent).

He really shouldn't be fronting this show anymore,, just can't stand his stale & embarassing "jokes" that hardly get laughs these days.

Bruce Forsyth must retire now (however I don't mind his occasional guest appearance to showcase his dancing, he's good considering his age).

When he's ad-libbing, it's fine. It's the guy who rights his teleprompter script that should be shot.

Taxi for allthatjazz! Bruce is great, its Tess fawning over him and his quips ("Oh, Bruce!") when they cut backstage to the interviews with the dancers I can't stand

I hope Darren Gough does okay, he's probably terminated his international career to take part in this series (a bit reminiscent of Phil Tufnell retiring from first-class cricket to participate in I'm A Celeb) ......

Really looking forward to the return of this show.

The Sun had publicity photos of Zoe Ball & Ian Waite, Fiona Phillips & Brendan Cole and Patsy Palmer & Anton Du Beke yesterday. I must say Zoe and Ian make an elegant couple, both tall and slim.

I'm surprised Anton Du Beke hasn't been paired with Gloria Hunniford. I thought he was great with Esta Rantzen last series. He seems to work well with the older women imo. It will be interesting to see how Darren Bennett gets on with Gloria, I would have thought it will be a bit different to dancing with Jill Halfpenny.

Roll on the 15th October.

Does anyone know if they are having "It takes Two" with Claudia Winkleman again?

I didn't see much of the last series but will definitely be tuning in this year as James Martin my favourite chef is appearing!

To your 'Anton works well with older women', I just want to say 'WHAT?!?!?!?!' - he gets on with them and they have a laugh but Esther last time was shocking and by putting him with her they had no chance. Lets hope he goes far with PP!

And as for ITT, yes they are having Claudia back!

Why did they get rid of JLC??????????

I agree with Nat. Do not wish Gloria on Anton. He (and us!) suffered enough last year with Esther!!

Think it's quite funny Darren has got Gloria! He deserves a challenge after Jill!!

The BBC made the biggest mistake ever in getting rid of JLC- fools!!

JLC Rules, Claudia is Great! Is Joe Mace back?

Agree that they are ensuring that they all get a decent partner and equal exposure. Seems fair

Joe Mace was on SDF not SCD!!!! Wish they had a show on Saturday after the main show - that was great!

Saw Brendan dancing in front of the fountains in Battersea Park some time ago and the chemistry between him and his stunning blonde dance partner made him and Natasha look like brother and sister. It was a film he is in and was told by those milling around the beautiful couple it's called Everything To Dance For. Anyone know anything about it?
Claudia back on It Takes Two.

Lol! What I meant was that he seems to be more patient and attentive to them than I think some of the other male dancers would be, Brendan Cole springs to mind for a start! I don't think anyone would have had a chance being paired with Esther, but I think he did well with what he had to work with! I am looking forward to seeing how he does with Patsy and it will be interesting to see how Darren does with Gloria after the lovely Jill.

Good to hear ITT is back, but I am surprised they haven't replaced Claudia.

I liked the show they had straight after SDF on Saturday nights and I agree, they should do that for SCD too. I liked Joe Mace on the weekday SDF show. He would definitely be a better choice for ITT than Claudia imo.

Glitter, repeat after me - 'Joe Mace would not be good as a Claudia replacement but JLC would be'

As for the after show, did u not see the first series, they had a show after the main show for SCD and chose to drop it. The BBC r fools and the sooner everyone comes to realise this the better!!!!
