Remember the guy who came into the house Day 1? That chirpy, jokey, frenetic bloke from the North East who did that duo act with Alison? The life and soul of the party etc? Well, after Alison got evicted, it was like he got evicted too? I haven't seen the same bloke since, just some parody of Jonny by some guy who is lethargic, miserable, moping, quiet, and who generally is not anything like the bloke that everyone raved over? I can understand someone being in the dumps for a few days, but is THIS the real face of Jonny, so who was this other guy, or who is this guy? Who is Jonny?

Dont agree with that at all. Take for example, Brian in last years series, he went on to win it

I think he DOES miss Alison, so I agree with HBK.
I DISLIKE Johnny: he's gone from annoying, to very very boring. But having said that; if he is "doing what he believes he needs to",(ie a deliberate strategy rather than just being mardy) as you say Grand wazoo, we can't fault his strategy can we? He didn't get nominated at all during the last rounds did he?

So his plan, if it is one, may well keep him in good stead. For a few weeks anyway.

Up to a point..
Sophie has been fairly unobtrusive lately, but she's paying for it now

Surely if Jonny is now playing with a strategy in mind and changing his ways then I can only conclude that he is not being true to himself or the viewers. It now seems as though he is playing up to the cameras. For this reason he has definitely lost my vote.

Brian in BB2 a small character? Did Jonny come into BB3 with a 'do a Brian' strategy? Did he then get paranoid when Alison got nominated and evicted for doing the same thing? So he thought calm it down a bit I can understand. But this low key thing is also bound to get him nominated when the likes of jade and Sophie and probably Tim are out.
I agree that he has some term left in BB, but can anyone say that they know Jonny? He has shown two completely contrasting faces which I find a bit odd, and if I were his g/f or mates at work I'd wonder who this bloke was too. At the minute he looks like a miserable refugee.
One thing for sure, I am glad he hasn't had access to real fags as he chain smoked in a pretty daft way when he had ample supplies.

I totally agree - Jonny has become a total fake for the cameras and viewers. It became pretty apparent after Alison that he spent so much time thinking and worrying about his tv image and playing up to some character he has invented for us and the HMs that he hasn't stopped to think "well, I could be meself?". Worrying. Who is Jonny?

I believe that Sandy's comments on his humour being basic and not funny affected Johny badly.

Agreed - that only served to make him even more paranoid and plastic. Even when some of the old Jonny comes out, he suddenly stops and becomes all reflective again. At least the other HMs seemed to have settled into some fairly consistent mode which we either love or hate (mostly the latter unfortunately with this crew), but Jonny? I cannot get my head round him.

What are ye all talking about? Jonny definitely has not been as loud as he was in week 1, but since Sandy telling him how much that annoyed him, he has calmed it down a notch. But he was definitely back on form this week, and I didn't really see him miserable at all. Now Spencer has left and he's feeling guilty. What do you guys want from him?

Agree. Also the cheating allegation (TRUE!!) bottled him up even further. I actually don't think he's very well. He's looking awful these past few days

I didn't notice Jonny doing his Club 18/30 repetoire this week? Are we on about the same bloke? As for feeling guilty about Spencer, his excuses for nominating him in the diary room, for calling him a cheat, were so childish and pathetic I was really embarrassed for him. As for feeling guilty to see Spencer go, I bet he was mentally shouting 'nah nah nah nah nah... that'll teach you to call me a cheat!'.

MGOM, agree - but his new haircut makes him look like an emaciated refugee, hence the poorly look methinks!

I think Jonny is a bloke fast approaching 30 and heading for a thirty-something crisis. He desperately wants to remain one of the young lads.

29 years old and we've heard nothing of his life experiences, I think he believes all good life is related to youth. Rubbish, live from now on Jonny and let your natural character blossom.

He's relied on being part of a crowd during his life and he should this opportunity to find himself otherwise he'll just turn into mutton dressed as lamb.

Well Jonny is my favourite and every housemate that has been evicted so far has said they want him to win because he is really nice and not false. Lynne, Alison and Lee have said this. Lee has turned against Adele because he feels she is two-faced now, as has Alison. Johnno, who is your favourite housemate?

That might to be do with the haircut he's just got. When did that happen, anyone notice? I only ever seem to notice Jade (wonder why that is!), Alex & Adele for some reason. PJ & Jonny are a bit like the grey man.

Bit off topic, but did anyone see the Sun online today and the pic that compared Jade to a hippo? It was pretty horrible, but I have to say the resemblance was uncanny.

I was also wondering if Jonny is purposely keeping lot of himself in. If newspaper reports of his cross dressing are true and he's seen the jibes Alex gets both in good humour but sometimes in vindictiveness, maybe he feels if he shows a chink in his armour he'll be an easy target for the other housemates. I very much doubt it, on the contrary I think it would increase his popularity in and outside the house.

LOl sorry but if he didn't want to win the money why would he have entered the game show in the 1st place and 2ndly where were you all when Jonny was recounting his band , and some of the terrably things he has had to deal with in the fire brigade? also some of the time he has been an extra in certain tv/film productions? These are only a few of the things that I have heard him talk about dont forget if he starts to talk about friends and famiy he/they immediatly get censored.

I think the reason he (and kate) have been so quiet is plain and simply they are demoralised by the bars and being on the poor side , Alot of people have said Alex has been very humourus to watch this week , was he so humourous last week . They are (jonny and Kate ) are bith quiet loud people so the change is more obvious in them

I for one hope Jonny does go on to win BB , I think he deserves it myself !
but that is just my opinion

I think Jonny though he was similar to Alison, that he was loud always up for a laugh, playing games etc. When Alison was nominated and then evicted Jonny would have though he was next in-line to go, so he might well have changed the way he's playing the game in order to survive Big Brother.
