The same here. Bought a Technika DVD 103 from tesco (22pounds), and would like to make it multi-region.

Found this method for unlocking the Technika 132, I know your on the 103, but maybe this will work for your players also:

You've chosen to view the multiregion hack for the Technika DVD-132 DVD player. To convert this player into a multiregion DVD player please follow these simple instructions (assume you are using the remote control unless otherwise stated):

Press Setup, Stop, Previous and Next on player

Seelct region via menu, Bypass represents multiregion

Here is a hack which should work for the DVD103 from Technika.

Turn on machine (and TV!)

Open tray

type 9 7 3 6

screen should show 'region 2'

type 0

screen should now show 'region 0'

wait for region display to clear

............and that's it - play disc!!

Is this player any good?.
As in, is the video reproduction in RGB good?.
I know it has component.

Also, it says 2 channel audio but also has the dolby digital sign on it.
Does it have coaxial or optical?, 5.1 sound?.

Has Co-axial output.

I initially thought this unit offered good value and features
However my unit has just died 28 days after purchase.

During this time playback of certain pre-recorded DVD's has been very choppy.

Plus whoever designed the remote needs Shot!

Will be going to get a refund tomorrow
