Why should he pick someone like Kate who shows nothing but contempt for him?

He said he chose Jade over Kate as kate copes better on the poor side but I have to say last week she looked as if she was gonna have a breakdown , she look so down and depressed I was really getting worried about her !

Alex really felt guilty about PJ being left over at the poor side, so he picked PJ first. Why ought he have picked Kate?. She displayed nothing but contempt for him, like a previous poster mentioned.

Kate has always shown her dislike of Alex and has never tried to hide it. At least Kate will have Sophie and a new male to keep her amused.

She doesn't like him and he feels the same about her, I admire the fact that he was brave enough not to pick her and stand by his feelings.

Tactically I think he definatley did the right thing as Kate was always going to nominate him anyway and now it looks as though the only nominations he will pick up next week will be Jonny and Kate.

I think the whole Alex, Jade, Adele clique thing will backfire on any of them should they get nominated, whereas Jonny's standing will have improved!

well although i'm not keen on Jade i would also have chosen her over Kate , if Jonny hadn't picked Tim alex wouldn't have taken Jade either

Pick Kate? In what universe? Why should he pick someone who has ALWAYS showed her dislike and her disdain? He did the right thing to pick PJ even though they've never been especially friendly to each other (and he doesn't know how awful PJ was about him last week), and why shouldn't he be allowed to pick Adele who is the closest thing to a friend he has in there? Despite his dislike for Kate, he clearly struggled over the last choice, and I think he probably chose Jade because she gets along with Adele, and he didn't want to separate them.

Why should Alex have chosen Kate. Each of Jade and Kate had spent one week on one side and one week on the other. It is certainly true that all Kate-lovers are slow. Can't even add up to two.

Cruel? Not really. Although I was surprised he picked Jade over Kate, now I think about it, neither choice was a particularly attractive one (pun intended ). Kate gets on fine with Johnny and Sophie, at least on the surface, and Jade gets on with neither. It was IMHO a choice made with a view to the HM's happiness, within very limited options.

No, Kate said to Alex "Why dont you like me?" She started the whole thing off and then she ran off to the bedroom crying, shes so pathetic.
