I just feel bad that it was left to Alex again!

Picking PJ was the right thing to do, but PJ should be eating humble pie & apologising for his behaviour last week.

If Alex had a calculating bone in his body he would have picked Kate over Jade, as that seemed to be the right thing to do, however one thing you can't accuse Alex of is being predictable!

I think he's made a big mistake choosing Jade, but maybe he's just scared of her, and how she'd react? He had every good reason not to choose her, and she knew it .(her face was a picture).

I don't think Kate deserved to be picked, as she openly hates Alex, but I think it would have built bridges, and Kate surely wouldn't have nominated him after that.

Oh well, anyone who can be that forgiving about some of things Jade has said is a better person than me, as I'd have put her straight on the poor side.

Your talking poppycock again, really.. There were that many votes because people actually ‘liked’ both Spencer AND Alex… its noy hate, its just a preference of one over the other.. my favourite character in the house is Alex, he provides for anyone over the age of 16 good comedy value.. and that is what I watch the show for.. he’s the star of the show and has been since week #1.

Look, plain and simple Alex is writing all of the scripts for the show, or at least the better ones.. the sooner you realise this the sooner your going to accept him. If he had have chosen the way you wanted, then there would have been fewer ‘talking points’ in the forum and it would have been over and done with.. Alex just surprises each week with what he does and the way he operates.. always with a touch of genuineness.. He’s giving us all something to argue/debate over.. and that’s also part of the show –user participation- .. The only person he ever seems to cause problems for his himself .. I presume you’re the type who would like to bully him like others have done in the past..

If anything, you should put the blame on Jade because she was the one who CHEATED Jonny out of his chair .. who might have then gone on to win, and would definitely have changed the selection process to what it is now..

Hmmm - much as I dislike Jade (I don't know any of them well enough to HATE or LOVE them), I don't think she cheated Jonny out of the chair. Her (ample) bottom was covering a good 95% of the seat, while Jonny looked to be on the remaining 5% plus half of Jade's knee!

It's been very interesting reading all the posts about Alex's choices. I think he was in a no-win situation whoever he chose. He and Tim didn't have a gentleman's agreement to choose each other. (This was forbidden by Big Brother anyway, which Alex pointed out to Tim.) They had a brief discussion about conceding, but so far as I understood it, no agreement.

I knew he'd choose PJ first, although the post about leaving PJ until the final choice was a very thoughtful one. Jonny would definitely not have picked PJ, so Alex would have ended up with him on the rich side anyway. It was more or less a given that he was going to pick Adele, after they'd become (perhaps tactically?) close this last week, and the final choice between Kate and Jade was just Alex caught between a rock and a hard place. I don't think he particularly wanted either of them!

I think he picked Jade because I think her outburst towards him was after she'd been drinking (OMG does she ever STOP drinking!) and he possiby saw that as a reason, whereas Kate's never hidden her feelings of dislike towards him.

This week I think will be very interesting!

Did anyone else notice that Alex said he had to move beds around as soon as he was left alone after musical chairs last night. He chose the furthest bed away from the double then tried to persuade PJ to have the double. He even made it up for him to make sure he would go for it!

Also how many times did he try to persuade PJ to have a shower last night?? And how much did he restrain himself this morning when he saw PJ in the other bed with no sheets???

Is this Alex learning to chill out?

Jade did insult Alex, but it was to his face as a direct result of something Alex did that annoyed her. Most of what she was saying was clearly 'heat of the moment' stuff. People just shout things at each other when they're mad. Alex has shouted things at Jade before ("double-agent", etc.) - they don't really mean it.

The only thing that Jade has done behind Alex's back was to tell the poor side she wanted Spencer to stay, and told Alex that PJ and Spencer didn't like him. However, the reason she did this was more likely to gain Alex's trust and was fooling the others. If Jade really didn't like Alex she would've been voting for him every week, and Kate is the only one guilty of that.

Kate seems more like the "slithering snake in the grass" if anything, because she secretly says she wants Alex to be evicted, and thinks he should've picked her, when she's actually never done him any favours. Why he's expected to pick her, I don't know.

Jade is just prone to outbursts at people when she's angry. Look at her fight with Adele - the next day they were best friends again. It's when Jade starts doing it behind other people's back that she means it. Kate just seems to have a front with everyone. The only person she's ever confronted is Alex, and I think it must be fairly obvious to Alex and everyone else in the house that she does not like him and will continue to keep predictably nominating him every week until she is evicted herself.

Alex is a scheming bitch.

Even BB are pushing in a sly way for him to win it.

Surely a better point would be to ask how many of the housemates are going to keep nominating Alex in case they come up against him in a vote? They don't know the percentages, so are going to be considering that he is very popular with the public. Would any of them really want to face him in a one on one public vote?

Also, some people didn't like Alex at first, because of his moaning. I was one of them, but he's really changed. I hardly ever see him moan anymore.

So, ALex has a lot of fans now.. Thats why Spencer lost to him, and Spencer was the fave to win the show.

I wouldn't say loads of people dont like Alex, because for the loads of people who dont like him, theres loads more that do.

If I'd been Alex and it came down to Jade and Kate I'd have asked if they could both go to the poor side and have the chickens in the rich side in return.
