You couldn't 'stomach' Alex winning?; does he disgust you so much, that someone who has shown himself to be the most genuine person in the house deserves not to win the show .. the person who has provided the most entertainment..

.. no, you'd rather have someone like Kate or Jonny or even PJ win wouldn't you .. because they closely fit the people you surround yourself with.. 'yob' types are more readily acceptable in your part of the world aren't they.. *sigh* .. what a pathetic argument you make.

.. "don't throw pearls to swine, .. "

I think in your case thats probably true...

You’d have thought that it was Kate whose won the competition the way she is going on, complaining to almost every housemate that Alex has done wrong by not picking her; out of spite. She’s also just mentioned that she wants a large-wooden-spoon to go into the diary-room with so she can ‘shit stir’ … The girl is playing games and its her spite that is violently aimed at Alex.. not the other way around. ”

Kate (the Babe)Should ask Adele Jade Alex,to pass over their Well worn Spoon, "Oh I forgot " she doesn't think they have one
As for complaining, Alex holds that position

"everyone hates Kate 'cause she's pretty"
wah wah wah, get your facts straight all of you that said that.

I don't think *anyone* has said they really dislike (not hate, but dislike) Kate 'cause she's pretty. What I said, and others have said as well, is that people dislike the way Kate uses her looks to manipulate people. She seems to think that people will like her because of what she looks like.

She does act like a spoilt child. Alison gets nominated, she cries a lot because she's not the centre of attention and partly 'cause she doesn't want Alison to go. Alison goes out of the house, Kate sulks, blames Alex and Sandy and threatens to leave. Spencer's evicted, Kate launches a big attack on Alex. Not to his face either, she's bitching to the other guys. Maybe she'd forgotten that it wasn't really Alex's fault that Spencer was evicted, but all those that nominated him and voted for him.

Some of you who are fans of Kate appear to be blind to her down sides, and to come on here and tell the rest of us to "give her a break", or "go and bitch about the others" isn't good. Like I posted earlier there's plenty of threads about all the housemates, why not go post in one of the others if you want to bitch about someone else.

I don't like or dislike Kate. She is a gorgeous looking girl, but the reason I have not taken a shine to her is that she's dull. All she does all day is whinge about Alex and act bored. I would've expected more from her inintially seeing her. It was clear from the first week, her and Alex were to be contenders after the famous duvet stealing incident. Alex's whole personality shines through. Kate I am afraid just doesn't.

Kate said she was going to take a wooden spoon in to the diary room to give to big brother so big brother can s**t stir some more and cause more conflict. not that she was going to s**t stir.

There tends to be a stereotype blonde thing where All blondes use their looks to get what they want, which really annoys me

Being a blonde i find it extremely annoying to watch her living up to that stereotype

The accusations of jelousy are another thing, why is it anyone who doesn't like Kate is "jealous" I for one are in no way Jealous of her and i am sure there are plenty of other women on here who feel the same.

another thing i have noticed is the amout of times that the word Blonde is used in the description of kate (even alhough she isn't) no-one comments on sophie being brunette or Jade being a dyed blonde can anyone tell my why it is so important what colour her hair is ?

Sorry for this rant i just had to get it off my chest

The Kate-lovers find it difficult to handle the reasons that people give for not liking Kate so they throw back dumb accusations of jealousy. Kate is disliked because of her lack of so much not becasue she may be pretty.

I agree about the spoilt brat in her. It's definitely not one of her better traits.

But, I can't help thinking back to the first weeks in the house, prior to the divide going up. Kate was flitting around from man to man, turning on her charm, and trying to find a receptive mate. Don't forget, her initial reaction to seeing Alex was that he was gorgeous. I have the feeling, that Alex didn't give off the right signals to her, so she moved on, and ended up with Spenny. Add to that, the 'wee-gate' and 'orange-gate' incidents, and you have a recipe for disaster.

Any genuine friendship between these 2 was doomed from then on. Since then, it's been blatanly obvious that they don't like each other, and probably never will. So, why he should have felt obliged to bring her over from the poor side is beyond me. Had he done this, everyone would have been saying how 2 faced he was looking then. All power to Alex for sticking with his choices.

Alex's problems with her, stem from 'orange-gate', and the fact that he was showing concern that others in the house had to eat food that she was messing with. Kate's, I think, was more down to the fact that he'd spurned her advances IMO. I don't think she could get into her head, why a guy like Alex wouldn't go for a girl like her.

The spoilt brat in her is her only trait. How has she got through life imagining everyone loves her. Very strange indeed.

Hear hear.

I feel sorry for Alex as he has been demonised by people in and out of the house when on the whole he has been trying to be helpful. Yes sometimes his approach may be moany/old woman, whatever but the intention has always been kind hearted.

Wee-gate - he wanted to make sure everyone lived in a nice enviroment.

Orange-gate - he wanted the food to be in condition for everyone.

Sugar-gate - he didn't ahve a go at Jade when she was using too much sugar out of spite but that he recognised they'd have to ratin carefully

Jade's Friday outburst - he wasn't being a psoilsport/grass saying don't pass things over he was concerned Jade would be reprimanded and they'd have more items confiscated.

Alex can't do right for wrong half the time.

And for the record I'm blonde

So how do you explain him grabbing the duvet off Kate?

Kate is at it again, slagging Alex off to death to Jade across the divide .. She's just broke her glasses, is swearing on her nephews life that she’d have done this-and-that had she won the musical char game… but she’s making sure she calls Alex as much as possible; playing the tearful-little-girl-lost role *again*.. Jade [it would seem] isn't taking part in the bitching..

are you ready for this....

she's broken her sun glasses.

he had fell asleep as he was drunk, someone put a cover over him, someone then removed it a while later and took it into the girls bedroom, alex then woke up and went to the room and took it back, (as i would have done)

the room was dark, he had no idea who was under that cover it could just as easily have been any of the male housemates, it was not a deliberate attempt to take the one Kate was using, But she turned it around and made it out as if he was doing it against her.

He grabbed the duvet off someone in the dark, I doubt he knew for certain it was Kate. It was to replace his one that the others had used to camp outside while he was sleeping on the sofa.
It's been alleged that there were duvets outside for him to take, I'd prefer to say why didn't they bring them back to the boys room if they weren't going to use them? Anyway he felt it was his duvet, end of story, bar the crying...

Ya beat me to it Real angel.

There she goes yet AGAIN (twice in the past hour!) crying now to both Jonny and Sophie; slagging Alex off... She's doing it to persuade anyone who will listen to vote against Alex..

Whats pissing me off about this is that Kate expected Alex to chose her over Jade; but .. lets think about this, Jade would then have spent TWO weeks in the POOR house as opposed to Kates one week ... Kate is a bitch for expecting to be treated differently to the others, just because she is 'blonde and pretty' ...

Yep, I heard it too. Moaning that Alex should have explained why he didn't choose her. Why should he? She said if she'd won the task she'd have chosen Alex if he'd been on the poor side for a week. Hmmmmm not sure about that......

Well with Kate in full sulk mode the poor side can have anew foodstuff because if she sits and looks at the milk long enough it'll turn into yoghurt...

And what a snake Jonny is. Sophie has suggested Alex kept Jade across as she is friends with Adele and Jonny spurts into 'we're not here to be bosom buddies' speech. Hello?!! This from the man who sticks to his clique like poo to a blanket!
