I don't think so, only if she's covering her mic...

She didn't cover her mic but she whispered in Jades Ear covering her mouth with her hand so that it wasn't audible through a mic.

Jade: oh she's dodgy
adele: yeah, well dodgy
Jade: but i'll not nominate her yet, her time hasnt come yet

Does anyone else see mind control going on here???????

Or maybe not.

Seems silly to me if they ARE allowed to whisper if they're NOT allowed to communicate in code, somewhat defeats the object doesn't it? Then again the BB staff/organisers are so obviously completely dense that it would not surprise me.

You've seen housemates in the same bed, even Alison and Kate shared a bed. They take the mic packs off and put them on charge, it must be very easy to plot together under the covers.

I think the difference is if they whisper, BB can still pick up what they are saying and broadcast it... if they talk in code they may not be able to understand it themselves.

The rules state that they are not supposed to whisper or cover their mics. BB seems to let it go if they can still hear what is being said.

THATS what I thought, but then I couldn't find (in my inebriated state) a copy of the rules.

Are you sure? please say you are...

Kate was told off about it a couple of weeks ago. she came out of the DR and apparently that's what BB said.

Good enuff for me: precedent thats called in lega circles, as good as any written rule as far as im concerned.

How should I pronounce your name : "acid ee"? or "akkidee"? or what?

The former I think. It's a middle english word for one of the seven deadly sins, in modern times known as "sloth." seemed apt at the time.

They seem to be breaking the rules all over the shop.
Jade - who is annoying me to such an extent I can hardly bear to watch any more - is CONSTANTLY discussing nominations. And Sophie in the musical chairs game quite clearly said " If anyone picks me for the poor side they are dead" when they were told no commenting on anything.
Past BB HM's must be getting so annoyed at the namby pamby approach BB has in this series - especially 'Nasty Nick' who was turfed out for what Hippo face does every day.

Jade & Kate were plotting/whispering together like mad after the task like night. However as Thick Jade was involved it became obvious that she was offering to pass food over the divide. What happened to her strike after crossing over on eviction night? It was mentioned on the E4 ticker but did the producers ignore it yet again as it didn't suit them?

Well, You should know by now that Adele and Jade are exempt from the rules, otherwise theyed have accumulated about 10 strikes between them and been evicted by now, but BB know's that the 'troublesome trio' (Jade, Alex and Adele) are who THEY have decided are going to be the final three (for 'financial' voting purposes) and so their misdemeanors go overlooked constantly... keeps us all watching though doesn't it?!...

two things from last night.... Alex was really overplaying the 'I didn't realise I had to choose' routine to gain public sympathy, I just knew he'd go to the diary room to say how 'awful' it had been....what a toad, he understood the rules as well as the rest!! they all spoke about it before the game started! how thick does he think WE are?...and when it came to jade and kate being the last two to choose from, I distinctly heard Adele whispering "jade, jade" to Alex as he was delaying his choice.....hmmmmm.....I wonder how much BB will take note of THAT little bit of rule-breaking.......not a lot I suspect.....fair play to Jonny for choosing people who hadn't been on the poor side....I like that guy!

Scorp my friend.
You're SOOO cynical. Good man!
Agree 'bout Alex. He's obviously quite intelligent (cf housemates anyway), and I find it hard to believe he didn't know the rules as well as anyone else. He was hamming it up (for sympathy presumably?), which made me lose some respect for him. I don't like Jonny normally, but he grew in my estimation: the way he handled the HARDER choices in a manly and business-like manner impressed me.

As for the complete wimpiness of BB, perhaps the name should be changed to BIG ACCIDIE !!
(see my conversation with poster of same name earlier on in this thread)
