I think we should save sophie from from the Bitch World. She has done nothing wrong. The Bitche's have chosen her as their prey this week. They should be thought a lesson.
It is a Game, and they are not playing fair.Sophie herself is aware of the hostility been shown to her.(BB needs to stop it)
It does not matter how we feel about her, we should not let them,
hurt her.

I agree... Dull though she is, there are people far more deserving of eviction this week than she is.

I am hoping that Alex/Adele are playing tactically, and aren't going to nominate Sophie at all, but rather are setting up Jade...

Now that would be very nice indeed! Jade being set up! Whats the chances of it actually happening though?!!

Nah - Alex and Adelle are too savvy to evict Jade, they see her as none threatening and are probably perfectly aware of her public perception. Jade is no threat so they'll probably keep her in as long as possible. I feel desperately sorry for Sophie - I don't think there has been such nasty and sustained bitching in any BB so far but Adelle and Jade will get their come-uppance when they leave the house! Jade obviously thinks she's being very clever, trying to influence people's nominations and deflect their attention from her behaviour. I'm really surprised and disgusted that BB haven't given her more strikes - I would have thought the best possible option in getting Jade out of the house would be via the back door - God help her if she goes out the front!!!

Agreed - OK so she made a mistake getting close to Lee - and what a mistake - but she can't pay for it forever.

Jade has just decided to pick on Sophie to delay her own inevitable and ugly eviction. Are any bookies offering odds on Jade topping herself after she leaves and realises she is the most hated person in the land?

Sophie might be little boring and a little repetitive but she doesn't deserve some of the ugly and offensive comments that Psycho Jade has been making about her.

It can only be a matter of time before Jade gets caught out...

Mmmm can't help but wonder what the public reaction to Sophie would be if 'leader' Spencer was still in as he certainly wasn't struck by her and her constant 'I am 25, I have lived.....mate'.

who knows really, perhaps people would still dislike sophie, but the situation as it is now i very unfair in my opinion. she is being attacked from so many angles, if that was me i think i would go mad in there. adele pretends to be friendly with sophie but as soon as her back is turned, the bitching resumes. some of the comments are just so spiteful and i can't see what sophie has done that is so terrible that it justifies that level of abuse. maybe it wouldn't be so bad if it was occasional but it's just constant, virtually non-stop. the bullies are growing in confidence, you can tell. they think they are untouchable now and you can sense that just by the way they talk, adele and jade especially. they have picked an easy target in sophie and that is exactly what bullies do in real life. i hope adele and jade are evicted just to see the shock and horror on their faces.

I didn't like Sophie at all, but now with all the bitching I am doing that terribly British thing and going with the underdog!
That's exactly what silly little girls do in the school playground and it's nasty! don't they even think what the viewers impression of them will be?

They better enjoy their powerplay while it lasts. I don't think any other HM would put up with it as Sophie has done. Hopefully during this week Jonny and Kate will support her until her probable eviction. I find her self absorbed and dull but thats no reason to be so malicious.
Shame the bars are coming down as I'd love to see her win the task and banish Jade,Adelle,PJ and Tim to the poor side.
Tim will rue the day he joined in the bitching as everyone can see how quickly and easily Jade turns her foul mouth against friend or foe !!
I do still think Alex tries to tone down the bitching or change the subject but Adelle n Jade just keep going back for more.
Interesting how Jade loves to dish it out but floods the house with tears if she gets the least little criticism. Her day will come!!

I agree with you all. I'm currently not enjoying watching BB as I can't get over how nasty they're being. OK, as most of you agree Sophie isn't the most interesting of housemates, but she's not done anything nasty to anyone. She appears to have been a little insensitive to some on the poor side, but they are being way, way over the top.

Why is Jade getting away with being such a nasty piece of work and also Adele for that matter? Why hasn't she been nominated? Personally, I'd like to see Adele go first so that Jade bricks herself and realises she's not safe. Isn't that why she went a bit off the wall at Adele over the verucca, ie she got drunk coz she was nervous about when her time comes!! Well, I'd like her to stew for a bit and really teach her a lesson.

Big Brother needs to try and put a stop to this straight away. They're seriously at risk of upsetting their viewers if this blatant influencing continues. I for one will not vote for Sophie if she's up for eviction - I don't care who she's up against.

Fair play to Sophie for staying though.

Yes, it has become pretty gruesome. Sophie is now surplus to the group's requirements, hence the extent of the feeding frenzy. Jade has been most despicable I think (no surprises there then). If I was Sophie's friends and family I would ask for her to be removed from the house; this is too nasty, too humiliating.

Good idea - it would be great to see if Jade n Sophie were up for eviction. I'd be pleased to see a huge anti Jade vote and Sophie left in to show the other HM's that the public really loathe Jade. Also they'd be scared of being up against Sophie as HM's are now by Alex the double eviction king.
I used to be concerned about Jade being booed etc but she's a classic victim turned bully and will have to bear the consequences of her behaviour.

Although I think that yes, Sophie does appear as a little boring at times, I also believe that she has shown a lot of strength of character by not retaliating to the poisonous combo of Jade and Adele. She (Sophie) is not stupid, and must be aware of the comments, or at least some of them, but she has proven herself to be a far better person IMO by not responding to two sad bullies.

Fair play to her!

Hyacinth - you are so right! Sophie has shown huge strength of character. She's been gutsy as hell all considered. She's not an arch-demon, she's vulnerable, uncomfortable and yet still surprisingly strong considering the playground atmosphere in that house. I'l love Jade to lose to her in an eviction battle!

Sophie has shown what a genuine person she is by not going down to Jade's level. I hope Sophie wins (if Kate dosen't).

Pullease! everyone, are we now in the business of doling out mercy-votes?.

She allied herself to one HM, didn't live up to her tape and has been as trite as it is possible to be with the other HM.

Granted, Sophie has done nothing to merit the level of hostility she's gotten from most of the HM, equally she has done nothing that merits her staying on.

so would i. and then adele vs. sophie with adele voted out with the biggest majority ever. that would be just fantastic. just for the look on both their faces as their names are called out for eviction over the girl they mocked and treated with such contempt. it would teach adele & jade a lesson if sophie has the last laugh in the end over her tormentors.

i was waiting for a post like this. yes, you are correct but remember that we vote for who we like more to stay or who we dislike more to be evicted. using that simple logic, sophie is a far better candidate to stay on than either adele or jade. ok, she made the mistake of bonding with lee but she has long realised that it was a mistake and geneuinely regrets it, and my feeling is that she has tried to make inroads into being friends with the others. but they are just too much of a "clique" to get into. adele, jade, and and pj will never accept her no matter what. they all have their own reasons, noen of them to do with sophie being a bad person. pj doesnt like her because she preferred lee over him when he was trying to make moves on her when she first came in, adele dislikes her for similar reasons this time because lee liked sophie better than her, jade is just jealous of sophie and alex is just being influenced by the others. i dont think he particularly dislikes sophie but he feels left out when they're bitching about sophie so he stoops to theri low standards too to solidify his position in this hideous clique. tim i believe is just playing games, but i could be wrong. i actually now think that they wouldn't have accepted her anyway, even if she had tried from the start judging by some of their personalities. all things considered, whatever mistakes sophie may have made in the past, the bottom line remains that there is simply no justification for the kind of abuse these lot are dishing out to her...they're just so cold with it. it's unfair and i think viewers will now see some of these people in a totally different light, and pass their judgement accordingly.

Ok, let's put it another way...

If this week's noms are Sophie and one other, which way do you vote, depending on who the other nominee is?

Me - only if she's up against Alex, Tim or Jonny would she get my vote. All the others deserve to get booted ahead of her (and some might say so do Alex, Tim or Jonny...)
Rufus73

It would depend on who she was up against, although I think the only person I'd like to stay in would be Jonny. I like him and I feel his humour has been quashed slightly by the others. Apart from him, I'd happily vote for anyone else and keep Sophie in. It'd be a very clear message to those who have been doing the bitching, ie don't forget you're not in control!!

The b!tching doesn't seem to be particularly hidden any more, Jade's been going on about Sophie in the garden in front of almost everyone, with Sophie in the house within earshot.

Imagine the smug look on Jade's face being wiped off if she is evicted instead of Sophie
