I'm not watching, but I've been on other BB sites where there are updates and Alex seems to have suggested a couple of times that perhaps they needn't bother making an effort with the task as "they" have all they need for a garden party. I assume he's talking about the amount of food the rich side has, but I don't know if he's joking or if he's caught the bitching bug. Has anyone got access to a tv who can clarify this?

I think PJ also said the same thing.

Great task !! I bet Tim does well as I suspect he may have had experience via his parents and his education.
Lets hope Jade heard it correctly and doesn't think BB is saying she has ' warts' ..........

im watching it now and alex and adele are really making an effort to learn the steps they havent stopped since the task began i havent seen anyone else try yet .i think jade and pj may have had a crack at it but its not the coolest thing to do and i cant see pj putting much into it

I think the point of the tasks are to cuz arguements again

Example - pool walk. Rich side do all the work, poor side gets reward

Dancing - Rich do half the work. Award is more for the poor side than rich side. Rich side dont make an effort, poor side get pissed off at rich side for it failing. Rich side have summer party anyway with what they have. Poor side gets even more pissed off

Good point badgerprincess! More than likely. It's a bit like a soap opera isn't it? You hate the bad guys, but can't bear to miss any of it as you want the bad guys to get what they deserve! Only difference is, you rely on millions of people to want the same as you!!

i see yor point but at the moment all 4 on the rich side are outside practising and the poor side have yet to try.sophie and kate are sat on their backsides so if they want a treat they better change their attitude

I like your Jade comments! but Tim's parents are very ordinary. His father was a pilot on foreign airlines - hence Tim going to boarding school, usual for expat's offspring - & his mother's origins aren't that different from Jade's in the type of housing.

Kate and Tim were practising the foxtrot earlier. I must have been watching the other side because I haven't seen the rich side do anything.

I was thinking that a boarding school would most likely have formal dances every so often but being a secondary modern lad - now that really shows my age - I can only guess that !
Also thought an airline pilot would get invited to dances. Once again that could be a misconception.
Having said that my working class Mum and Dad went to plenty of dances and I can do a passable waltz ! (I'm much better at salsa and lindyhop though ).
