Mobile Virtual Network Operator idea
Here is my MVNO idea. I have patented the idea, and am trying to get funding from banks and venture capitalists, or I may sell the idea.
Basically, it is run like easyMobile with everything done via the website, just selling sim cards. However, customers have the option (can be turned on and off via website) to have highly reduced rates if they have adverts put at the end of their text messages and/or have short adverts (both caller and receiver would hear) played during their calls.

There maybe a market for this, who knows...

I wouldn't be interested, i'm happy paying £10pm for 200 xnet minutes and 500 txts.

why not ask stellios, rather than trying to set it up yourself.

Have to say though if someone phoned me up and i had to listen to an ad, i'd either call them back or punch them in the face.

Do we really need anymore mobile virtual networks? i mean i can think of at least 5 already. Easymobile has been abit of a flop because of the "hidden charges" i.e charging you to top up! One thing they got right is their c/s its excellent. But then when i joined them 4 months after they launched i read they had less then 5,000 customers so it would be able to get through on the phone.

I do not think i would like the idea of adverts on my texts. If i was to run a MVNO i would get an agreement with ALL the 4 major networks and use all 4 to offer the best coverage of any operator
