Playing the game

Am i the only person who wants to see all the Hm's actually playing the game tactically

I want to see them trying to get each other to do the same nominations,
I want to see them backstab each other and do what it takes to win the money.
I don't want them all actually liking each other and being nice all day

All i can think when watching BB is that it's a game and they should be playing it.

That's what spoils the whole program... It's not some social experiment. I was disappointed when Nick got caught out in BB1 as he was just playing the game.

the problem is, it sounds good in theory buit when you see the way some of these people actually put it into practice (ie. the likes of adele, jade and tim), it just makes your blood boil. it's just a natural reaction that people will dislike that sort of behaviour. i think whats more important is to have entertainers in there, people who are genuinely funny like brian in bb2. i think thats what people really watch bb for. either that or thewy're hoping to see some sexual behaviour. viewers dislike the backstabbers because they always appear to be so cold and calculating, like they really dont give a damn but will attempt to win by hook or crook. viewers warm to people who EARN their victory in a good way without having to resort to underhand tactics. backstabbers will never be loved in bb unless they have other endearing qualities such as when alex was the bad guy, people still liked the way he was funny with his moaning too. thats the only way the "bad guys" will ever win imo. it's a natural thing that people want the most genuine or funniest people to be their chosen winner of bb.

I like to see tactics come into play, as all the pantomine tasks, and dressing up routines are pretty weak television.

But what makes it worthwhile is at the end, when the winner is declared, is that the victor is an absolute arsehead when it came to playing tactically.

I don't mean the winner should have no merits whatsoever, but I like it when they are oblivious to the slyness of the others.

I liked craig from BB1 winning, Brian from BB2 winning, and even the Jonny from Survivor winning that show.
All these winners had some sort of clumsy, innocent way about them.
But from this crop of housemates, there doesn't seem too many contenders that fit into this category. I may be a little disappointed this year.

You raise an interesting point. I agree that it is good tv to watch a bit of back stabing, but if theres someone attacking, then theres always someone being attacked. Maybe if there was someone more goby than Jade then we would think that she aint that bad, also maybe if there was someone duller than sophie then maybe sophie would pick on her.
