Do the customers pay, then?
I reckon I've watched 3 of the American HKs.
Each time the restaurant has had to be shut down due to the shambles in the kitchen. In the 2 hours or so that diners are kept waiting, they are on the booze. What happens when it shuts? Do they pay? |

I don't know for sure - but I would not think so.
Much like in this country, the slebs in the restaurant are C-list and are looking perhaps for some media coverage - which would explain why some of them try to attract attention in some way shape or form |

They don't pay and I don't think anyone ever pays to visit a television set.
