Mrs Goody Snr
I am so gutted to have missed the interview with Jades Mum - bet she is proud of her daughter!!
I would love to hear any comments anyone has to make on seeing the interview as i am very curious about her. Also would love to see/read an interview with Adeles gf or Jades (ex)boyfriend should be riveting stuff. Working from home and access to E4 is NOT a good combo i am getting obsessed here!! |

BBLB phoned her after the veruca incident and she said that she always made Jade wear rubber socks when she went swimming so she wouldn't catch anything, she obviously didn't think to tell her why and she said if jade had got the veruca at home she'd take her to the doctors, it's no wonder the NHS is in crisis with people like that wasting their time. Sorry got a bit carried away there.

I remember that telephone interview with Jade's mum. When I first heard her voice I thought they made a mistake and Jade's grandad was on the phone !!!

I commented on Jade's mum earlier in another thread (hello and thanks net chick). Anyway, Jade's mum makes witches look attractive. Jade will probably look the same in 20 odd years time. Mum's got all the unattractive east London council estate "chic" that Jade has, but with none of the niaivety that lets Jade get away with it. Never mind "Would you like fries with that?"; in her ideal job, all she'd have to say is "Lucky heather?"
clarribo: my mind boggles at the thought of what Jade or her mum might think counts as "rubber socks". |

The presenters (whoever they are) were trying very very hard not to appear to laughing with her - not at her. Which they were! Considering the antics of her daughter that didn't surprise me one bit. I don't think she will be winning the Mother of The Year Award - on the other hand
