I don't think that possible, otherwise they would have mentioned it in the letter.
You need to call them on 0800 079 0006 - it's free from a landline. If you need any further help, call customer services on 0500 80 20 80 - also free from a landline

I don't think that link is to activate a PAYG sim card.
It is to register for Orange Online Services "Orange Online Services" means access to the internet and WAP provided by Orange, www.orange.co.uk, the Orange Multimedia Services, Orange Email, Calendar, address book, tasks, synchronisation, Online account access and other internet and WAP services provided by Orange from time to time. They will send a code to your Orange phone - if the sim is not activated they nor anyone else can send anything to the phone |

A word of warning they didn't activate my 3,000 Free Text Messages and I was getting charged so I had to phone up Customer Services to get them to sort it out which cost 25p though they did refund me the Text Message I got charged for. So make sure you tell them you get your free messages then and there without a £15 topup!

So i'm going to have to ring up and do it all then and remember to tell them that i dont need to top-up £15 to get my free 3000 txts...Right. Got it.
On the letter it says what you need handy when you phone and it has your sim number...now is this the phone number of the sim...or the number on the back of the sim, the ones that a black digits? Because no where does it say the phone number of that sim card! |

Same here, I got put on PAYG w/ bonus top ups. I think you can change to the free 3000 texts here: http://www2.orange.co.uk/servlet/Sat...9316055#answer (click on How do I get my 3000...). |

Orange
Orange have now stopped the onle registration service. Just call 0800-079-0006 free from a landline or orange pay monthly mobile. Quote:

I registered a new one the other day and got 30 free picture messages and 3000 free texts straight away but my brother registered one tonight and it was as if he was speaking to someone from a foreign call centre and they never even asked him if he wanted 30 free picture messages and when he asked about the 3000 free text promo the woman said that you have to top up £15 a month to get them but the service has been added.

I am only using up the Free texts until they expire on a second phone and then scrapping the orange sim card, I am sticking with T-Mobile at the moment as my main phone and number but i'm seriously thinking of buying a new vodafone pay as you talk phone but i'll just have to wait and see...
) to use instead of wasting my credit as evenings and weekends are the times where i txt the most, so would come in useful...then bye bye sim card!
