and to think i turned down a trip to london this weekend....i could have gone to G.A.Y

As much as I didn't want Nicholas to go, I was kind of expecting it. I had these horrible voices in the back of my mind when he performed the first time around saying "Nicholas is going, Nicholas is going". I was blubbing throughout the whole show, so I didn't enjoy any of it! Even though I'm upset, I'm kind of relieved that he's gone at the same time, because he wouldn't of lasted much longer anyway, and I wouldn't of been able to cope with another week of emotional trauma!

im not a fan of his but i wanted him to stay over the conways. And i really dislike Louis because he didnt even seem to care about him!
Louis was the same with chenai and philip, he ONLY cares about Shayne

Louis may of favoured Shayne over his other acts, but I don't think Louis didn't care about Nicholas at all. Louis knows that Shayne is very popular, and has a huge fan base, and also knows how to market him in terms of what kind of songs to give to him. Louis said himself that he wasn't sure what sort of musical direction Nicholas could go, and that he was just playing russian roulette with him every week. Louis hasn't got a clue about RnB, where as he knows the pop industry inside out, with Westlife being one of the most successful pop acts of all time. I personally don't blame Louis at all.

I didn't rate Nicholas at all tonight, but he seems like a lovely guy and hopefully this won't be the end for him. Chin up!

anyway nicholas must be a really nice guy coz everyh single act looked sad to see him go, especially journey south, andy and shayne

I didn't think Nicholas was very good tonight either, but I still voted for him and wanted him to stay because I know he can do so much better. He is still very young, and needs a good few years yet until he can reach his true potential.

I'm still blaming him for Chenai leaving too, but as you know, I also really liked Nicholas and wouldn't of wanted to have been in the situation he was in.

I was meant to go to G-A-Y tonight but i couldnt get tickets because guess who is performing.. MADONNA! how cool is that for nicholas getting to perform with a legend

I was sad to see him go as he comes across like such a nice guy and has a fab personality (unlike the conways) but i guess they did out perform him on the night.

Anyway hopefully this wont be the last we've heard of him

He's potentially very good but I think someone needs to take him aside and give him some decent mentoring, work with him, get him writing original material that suits his voice and in about a year I can see him releasing an album. felt sorry for him a bit on saturday, my son is a similar age. I think he has a killer smile but he doesn't do it enough. I wish he would.

Needs to get a good choreographer to beef up his stage precenece and i think he'd be very good indeed.

Am gutted that Nicholas went but am absolutely sure we will see him singing on TV in the future. I don't think we've heard the last of him.
I hope someone takes him under their wing gives him a year or two to develop and am sure he'll be a successful male artist.

I wish him all the best for the future.
