you mean he didn't sing it it in an absurdly high-pitched
falsetto like michael jackson? he sang it his way

for me it worked

with the exception of maria and chico
all the other acts are in a time warp

Hi thms

Not keen on Chico but agree with you on the time warp thing.

I think Louis should give Nicholas something more contemporary, perhaps a Boyz II Men song? From what I've seen on this forum it seems that Nicholas isn't rated but I reckon he would be able to sing a song by them. Louis isn't giving him songs that are modern - that suit his voice and image. It seems to me that Louis doesn't know what to do with him and isn't marketing him at all.

Yeah I thought his interpretation was good and I felt that, this week, he worked on his performance. I was very pleased with how well he received the criticism and I really hope he gets a chance to stay if only so that he can sing something that suits his voice and tells us what he is about.
Off to have my dinner now.

He really pulled it out of the bag on that second performance This could be just what he needed to make him step up a gear

Yeah, I've liked that kind of raw talent lurking there, and I don't think he's aware of how good he is, and of how great he could become. I think the arrangement let him down tonight.

Sure did honey, they at least, can recognise talent when they hear it

Lets hope that next week he has a song worthy of his talents

I'm just popping in to say that I'm chuffed Nicholas stayed. It was only fair given that it was his first time in the bottom 2 and Chenai's 3rd time.

Bless Nic. I have a soft spot for him. Hope he does well next week. Glad Chenai's gone - she was so desperate and pathetic. Her mouth really annoyed me.
