LOL. She sounds like she's got a tongue stud in her mouth and the way she moves her mouth when she sings is as though she holding chewing gum between her gum and cheek.

I too have a soft spot for him - he just looked like such a frightened little rabbit caught in the glare of some headlights. Bless him.

Nice to see you on DS.

Some great suggestions there media, i particularly like "kiss from a rose" - that would show his vocals off a treat and "me and mrs jones" - just a great song, would make me go weak at the knees anyway

From that list, I'd definitely choose the R Kelly one and Boyz II Men. As a matter of fact, I suggested somewhere that he should do Boyz II but I think the R Kelly one is better. The Kenny Thomas one could work too.

I think that it's important for him not to sing a song where the singer's voice is so identifiable that unfavourable comparisons can be made. Nicholas doesn't seem to have much light and shade to his voice. He can sing falsetto and in the low register but I haven't heard anything else (not that I really know much about ranges) but it seems to me that he goes high and then low but not mid range.

Excellant points made there Candice - i know what you are saying about the lack of mid range. He sang a Boys II Men track at his audition - he nailed it
