In fairness, other than having a brawling row with Jade (which it would have ended up being if Kate had stuck up for Sophie more), she did the only thing she could do. Quietly listen, admit one minor irritation, then say she thinks she's genuine.
As long as Kate doesn't start with the pathetic "hi mate" piss take of Sophie, then she hasn't done anything wrong. She might also see a different side to Tim who has shown a remarkable dislike of someone he's only just met and never bothered to talk to.
I kind of feel sorry for Kate (at the moment! My opinion of all the housemates changes all the time!) because Jonny and Sophie were in bed so she had to talk to someone.

I have never liked or disliked Kate but she does come accross as strong willed and I would hate to think that someone like Jade could bring Kate round to her way of thinking.

We'll have to wait and see
I hope that now she's seen Tim's nastier side she'll start to wise up a bit (hopefully telling Jonny that he's a nasty bit of work tonight)......but self-preservation might be higher up on her own agenda and she might want to get in with the 'in crowd' to reduce the chance of getting nominated next week.

I just voiced the same sentiment on another thread, blueeyes....I'm not quite sure whether she's going to choose to run with the crowd to save her own skin (she obviously isn't aware that Jade and Adele bitch a lot about her too) or whether she WANTS Jade to think that she agrees with her treatment of sophie in order that she can escape nomination herself at some point....

Now Jades slagging her off again and saying tim's got his own opinion, Adeles agreeing, PJ's looking like he's had enough and Alex is saying he feels tight.
I may have got this wrong but didn't Sophie ask Kate to find out why Jade and Tim had a problem with her

Im convinced Kate will get sucked into the Adele, Jade clique when Sophie goes. I dont think shes got a strong character, and she seems to be easily swayed by Adele.

adele isnt trying t sway people, sure she gives heropinions out, thats it. she doesnt try to sway peoples votes.
Although I think Sophie will be going this Friday, in a way I think it would be more interesting if she stays, even though she is more boring that Jonny at the moment. Whoever goes, Kate and Jonny/Sophie (whoever stays) will be in a weak position. If Jonny stays, he, PJ and Kate may finally give Adele a few votes, but if Sophie stays and the bars come down, I think the interactions between the four girls will be very interesting! Also I would hope that if Sophie did stay, Kate would do the decent thing and stick by her when Jade and Adele bitch.
