I don't think she deserves any money. She's been a horrible bully. What she does deserve is the respect of the public and a quiet life.

I for one wouldn't want to see her again on TV, newspapers, hell* magazine or whatever.

It has become less and less interesting as more and more people endlessly (and without much wit) have jumped on the Jade/pig bandwagon. The frenzy reminded me of 'The Two Minutes' Hate' of 1984 itself - an unfortunate corollary of playing with the whole Orwellian theme perhaps? What next I wonder? Will Endemol one day include an extra locked room (101) in future houses, or begin to feed the HMs with false information which they then contradict? Actually the latter could form the basis of an elaborate memory task for the HMs.

My thoughts on this subject are as follows..I think that people who write things like "What would you rather do to Jade..Beat her or rape her" are seriously warped in the head and are merely using the topic as an outlet for their own sick personalities but I feel that if I want to show my objection to a person who I deem to be particularly nasty, 2 faced and IMO of sub-standard intelligence, then I feel that I should be able to. Although I find her particularly offensive to look at, that is not what I have a problem with. I didnt find Alison particulary attractive personally, but she seems an extremely nice person with a hell of a lot more good points than Jade.

Spencer - I am not a Jade fan, as a matter of fact her voice did my head in the minute she walked in through the big brother door, and I'm all for a healthy discussion about the likes/dislikes concerning the housemates.

However, the anti-jade topics on this forum were getting way out of hand, and some of them were very nasty and vindictive. IMO the bullying on here was no better than the bullying in the house, and I worry for her reaction to all of this when she is evicted.

That may be the case but you if you make your bed, you have to lie in it. If you go on a TV show watched by millions & act like that what kind of a reception would you expect?

It is unbelievable that so many people are now complaining about "Jade Bashing"

I think even the most delusional people are aware that by going onto a program such as Big Brother is going to put you under a microscope. We all know what the press are like in this country and so we expect to find out if anyone who has suddenly stepped into the limelight is of dubious character or has any skeletons in thier cupboard.

I think that Jade is a pig. You only have to watch for a few hours to see that she is pig-ignorant. I think her attitude towards others is manipulative and devious, and I would class both these characteristics as those of someone I would refer to as a pig.

I am hardly suprised that on this forum, where the program is being discussed, someone who is playing a major part in making other HM's lives difficult is being given a hard time/being bashed.

I say let the bashing continue. She knew the rules, she knew the possible concequences. In my opinion she is a b*tch who has probably had it coming to her for a long long time.

Hopefully she will be voted out soon so then the bashing will stop though

I really don't like Jade anymore, and I find much of her behaviour despicable. The problem is that I think that some of us - me included - are suffering from being "pots calling the kettle black". Earlier on today my colleague and I were having a huge moaning session about our boss. Halfway through I suddenly realised that I was doing a "Jade" as I would never say any of the things I was saying to my colleague to my boss' face. Does this make me a complete bitch? Does this mean that I am now asking all the people on this forum to start hating me? I'm not trying to condone Jade's behaviour - as I have already said I find her bullying ways terrible - but I do think that when posting stuff we should try not to descend to her level.

Jade's not wholly at fault.
Firstly, BB should never have put her in the house.
Secondly, as "Calrissian" has nicely pointed out (in the most posted/thread in this forum), Jade is emotionally immature, but this could change if she was around people who would model mature behavior to her. (Think of how Helen got better the longer she was around people like Dean and Elizabeth, who may've been boring, but never descended into playground mentality).

In an early post, long buried in the flurry (slurry?), I argued that I thought Jade is manic depressive (high/low mood swings). This behavior got worse the more she drank (all the famous Jade-isms about East Angular, Heinstein, etc. were made when she was wildly drunk).

Calrissian's right, IMO, Jade doesn't quite understand what's going on, even while she is very good intuitively on picking up who holds the power in groups (probably a skill learned from the pre-Bridget Jones Bermondsley). Jade's problem is that she's in a s***y environment, and that's a problem that the producers of BB have to take responsibility for, since they "constructed" this BB to have a Survivor-esque competitive atmosphere, rather than the far more communal and co-operative one of last year.

I agree that a lot of the Jade comments on this forum have been cruel but we watch the BB programme and then come onto the forum to discuss what we have seen. Our posts are a result of us making decisions and forming opinions based on our viewing. I hate to bring out the trite comment that if you dont like it then dont read it but there really are lots of threads which dont include Jade as more than a secondary character. The truth is that Jade is one of the most prominent figures in the BB house and this is primarily because she has been so two faced for want of a better word and no-one can dispute that she has been the ringleader in the bullying of a completely innocent HM. These traits anger people and they should be allowed to express their views on these dedicated threads. Please feel free to set up more threads which do not focus on Jade and those of us who are angered by her behaviour will respect your decision not to enter into our conversations. We shall extend you the same courtesy. Its about BB - not about your personal feelings towards other forum members. And some of the comments on this thread have come close to calling the rest of the forum idiots and halfbrains. As was pointed out previously by a reporter we are here to comment on the housemates and our thoughts on them. Please do not become the conscience of the BB forum. We are adults and this is a position which does not require to be filled.
