I am trying to get into the live chat forum. Can I expect to see any of you there? and is anyone else having problems getting into it?

i'm in there now and there only seems to be about a dozen people in there. its strange. it doesnt seem very reliable to me, and I'm surprised that there arent more people considering it was advertised to the whole nation

ok i will. all the people in there are being really rude and slagging each other off. i've basically sent loads of questions asking the stuff we've all talked about on here, like 'why was Jade picked' etc. I'll let you know what they say

Someone comes in (11.08 tut tut) and says hello. he's called phil. they are the executive producers

Ok, I'm not doing this word for word, just generally what they say

Q. Why are you making a mockery of the rules and not being harsh? Meant to be 3 strikes your out, and obviously being soft on them

A.First they warn them to make sure they know they're disobeying the rules. 3 strikes rule was only for people seriously disobeying. they dont want to be like school teachers. claim they have been harsh. tougher didnt just mean rules

Q. About Jade, she seems immature and obviously drinks a lot, has limited education and life skills

A. No regrets about picking her. Psychotherapist had no concerns about her. They like Jade and moniter everyones drinking so that there is no cause for concern. They think she'll be fine when she comes out

Q Rules say that there should be no intimidation so how do you let them bully Sophie but not discuss nominations?

A. Housemates are free to discuss who they like, just sometimes it isnt comfortable to watch and we dont like their views. monitor carefully in case they say they will nominate each other. they have simply said they find her difficult to get on with

Q. Are you worried about Jades reception when she leaves as she is very unpopular!

A. We feel bad that she is being called a pig and will give her support when she comes out. Think people have gone too far. We have a Pr service to provide her with help and people to talk to. Big Brother does cause lots of emotions. The aftercare isnt just for 2 weeks but for longer

(remember, not word for word)

Re Sophie..rules say no bullying why do u allow it?

A: they r allowed to discuss how they feel bout each other...feelings can be uncomfortable ot view....they look for htem saying they r gonna nominate particular person..seen no evidence of that...s
mply said they find Sophie difficult to get on with (??).....

Ppl arent happy with way voting been going..bb is boring compared to other years..after being in chat room for 10 days let us have a public vote its been echoed and agreed with 100%...let us have a public vote....put one person out and another back in?

A: Watch this space......Phil said...other said something different like we get to have a say in evictions anyway

oooh! my question

Q Why did you say that the divide would be permanent when it first went up and are now saying that it was never meant to be permanent?

A. Rules said that housemates should deal with the divide as permanent. they said this cos they didnt want the HMs to think it was only for 24 hours or something. producers never wanted it to be there forever, but the HMs will really have to work for it if they want it down. they think it added interesting elements to programme and characters. big brother can change the rules as they please

Q. HMs spend too much time talking about the whole BB experience and are too aware of the cameras. Can u prevent this in the future?

A As it is series 3 ppl know how it works more.this is why they had surprise eviction and bars to shock them basically. they have no idea what will happen next and dont know as much as they think

Q. Voting and evicting has been boring. Why dont we have a public vote to get someone out and get a previous contestant in

A. Watch this space. public has a big control over what happens. nobody is in total control. programme makers choose who they want in the house. Hm's make the nominations and viewers get the final say. everyone has an influence. and it hasnt been as predictable this year. i week 2 only 1000 votes between them so each vote counts (plugging for people to ring?!)

They're taking a long time to answer questions

Q. What would happen if HM's refused to obey the rules/bars/nominate etc and made demands

A. (jokes) throw them out. people enter knowing they have to abide by the rules. if they constantly refused we'd throw them out. some people want prize money so wouldnt risk it

Q. Wouldnt it be better if prize money was drastically increased?

A. People dont do this for the money.

Q.Why have they not been given weekly tasks. They seem bored and just argue

A. although previous years tasks were 5 days long, they very rarely spent more than 10 minutes a day practising and some ppl didnt join in at all. this year they wanted tasks where they cared if they won or lost. look at the decisions alex has had to make, they were interesting. also easy to look back with rose tinted glasses. equally bored in previous years. they've given this lot plenty of tasks eg ballroom dancing

Q. Would you show if people had sex?

A. There are ITC rules, but we would know if it happened

Q. Why is sound cut so much on the internet cos there arent censorship rules like on tv?

A. The rules DO cover internet and there have been cases where people have sued over libellous stuff. fit for family viewing.

Q. Do you feel this years show is working as well as other years?

A. 14% more viewers. we're hooked and love it

thanx! thats ok. See, before the producers got in there, there were moderators chatting to everyone. EVERYONE was putting in these really good probing questions and the Ed's were saying they'd give them as many good questions as they could. Then they gave them all the rubbish ones. The ones that didnt put the producers on the spot

Oh - now it lets me in!!!!

You were a wee star Drama but it did seem as if the questions put forward were ones which had already been addressed elsewhere like increased prize money and task length. never mind - I hardly expected a startling revelation.

So were there any points worth raising from it?
