Then that means the HMs want it that way. Perhaps they'd rather be up against someone less likely to win in the final weeks? Whatever. It isn't a fair game. It also would show that Jade IS capable of developing or adapting her behaviour, which is again what I thought many people were demanding of her/doubting her capacity for. I don't hate Jade, but I don't much like her.

That would be ok if BB (or Jade) told ALL the HMs that they have broken/bent the rules for her own good. Which they havent. And it would be ok if BB told the public (ie on the official website) that Jades "change of heart" was just after they'd grilled her ass for an hour. Which they havent.

Not that I think JAde will benefit in the long run. But Alex (and maybe Adele if shes nimble enough) should benefit. Jonny (assuming he stays in) and Kate suffer, both inside and outside the house.

It wouldn't surprise me if the official site did comment on this, as they've been quite critical of Jade's behaviour to Sophie. Someone on another thread (sorry forgotten where) suggests that the psychotherapist could well have asked open or leading questions which resulted in Jade considering herself how she was viewed outside the house. This fits in with what they usually do. They can then simply not respond or not deny that it is true, which would lead Jade further down the path of realisation/speculation. The onus is clearly on Jade to do the best she can.

Whatever the truth is, I really do think that BB had some responsibility to 'manage' the situation with Sophie, and I'm pleased if they've done something. For the sake of them both.

Why will Jonny & Kate get a bad reception because of this?

not yet they havent. And have you read their "psychological rating" rubbish?

The way Jade responds to criticism? I don't think so. I'd say they would've had to hammer it into her.

Maybe so, but whats wrong with a strike for bullying/intimidation/trying to influence nominations etc ? - Shes either breaking the rules or she isnt....

Why will Jonny & Kate get a bad reception because of this?

Not bad, but not as good. If Jade/Adele/Alex's behaviour had to continue unabated the public would have shifted massively behind the (relatively) "good" others. Kate had already taken tentative steps towards "doing a Craig". Now they've muddied the waters / re-levelled the playing pitch etc.... Do you think their intervention has been as good for (say) Kate as it has for (say) Adele ?

Yes, the psych stuff is a load of junk, isn't it?

I don't know how Jade would respond to the psych, but clearly something happened. I would agree with giving Jade a clear warning - which they might have done - and perhaps she'll get a strike if it doesn't improve.

Tactically it does change the game, but I suppose their first responsibility was to prevent harm to Sophie. I've never really considered either Kate or Jonny to be potential winners although they both seem to be liked outside the house. What they don't know won't harm them. BB had to intervene because no one in the house had the ability to tackle the situation/stand up to Jade. I guess they just dithered for too long.

I suppose you could look at it that way, but if I was Kate and I get voted out by 2% in a head to head against Jade, I'd be complaining about the way ch4 reported the whole Jade thing so far... depends on tonights ch4 show, but the web site is not promising...

If this was the States they'd probably be facing a seven figure lawsuit from Jade herself!
”

Err, if this was the States she would not be on the show: the age groupings are higher there.

The fact that the BB team are coaching the contestants is extremely unfair on those who have been playing the game all along. Isolation from the outside world is part of it. Letting Jade know how to be a real Gooey Goody in time to get the script back on track is pathetic.

It really does seem like C4 were setting up for a similar end to last year... Doe we need another Helen

I'm not beautiful. Does that mean I shouldn't be out in public either?

Be interesting to see what happens. On the official site, there's a piece titled 'A New Target?' about Jade shifting her attention to Jonny. I wondered if that theme might evolve into deserved scepticism about her tactics.

I think the point about Jade being up for eviction against anyone is that it could go any number of ways. I know people who want her to stay because they find her fascinating to watch - in which case BB might have reduced her chances by manipulating a change in her 'fascinating' behaviour. I feel indifferent to Kate and Jonny as contestants, and would possibly vote against them just because I don't find them interesting to watch. I don't dislike them, but I really wouldn't miss them. I don't think Jade would ever win, so I don't worry about her being left in the house. Both Kate and Jonny have looked unhappy for quite some time - perhaps they'd be happier enjoying the post-eviction fame anyway.

Helen was liked because she was daft, she knew she was daft and she didnt try to hide it. She was also a basically nice person.

I think it is disgusting that BB have broken thier own rules all the way through, it seems to be one rule for the BB house and another for Jade. When they gave her the Strike they told her that they had repeatedly warned her, I feel that anyone else would have been given a strike on the first or second occurance.

The BB rules state that there is to be no contact with the outside world, if they have even so much as asked leading questions of Jade to point her in the right direction then this is clearly wrong.

I do think it will be very hard for her when she leaves the house but maybe this is an example that all bullies should see. Her actions and decisions are her own, she is a grown up. Therefore she has only herself to blame, however, BB should never have allowed her to stay so long, she should have had the strike earlier and it should have been followed by another, if she had then continued to be a bullying, manipulative, twisted girl she would have earned her third and be gone by now.

I think this is typical of BB, you only get to see what they want, and to a certain extent they get to keep those that they like within the house. The sound gets removed for "legal" reasons when they want to "legally" decieve everyone.

I really dont like Jade, I feel the program would be more entertaining without her.

I wont be voting this week, I'll be saving my votes now for her eviction, and then she'll get a whole bunch

Nice.
