Alex fans - come back, all is forgiven
desktop

Reading the forum nowadays, you'd never guess that Alex had just beat out the consistently most popular HM in an eviction contest. Or, that PJ now says that his treatment of Alex was immature.

While Adele has certainly fallen in the public's mind for legitimate reasons, what evil did Alex do? The most he's ever said about Kate, who he doesn't like, is tell PJ, in a private conversation, that she's "uninspiring. Kate, on the other hand, punched bags in front of the whole house, shouting "Alex, Alex."

Alex fans, wo sind Sie?

Well I'm here

And I remain utterly proud of Alex and stand by the fact I think he is a sensitive gentleman with manners, who's honest and caring.

I too am a fan of Alex, he's done quite a bit for the house in my opinion. He's given people tips how to survive on the poor side of the house, he's been a source of entertainment every now and then and is in general an all round nice bloke.

I don't see why a lot of people in this forum are associating him with Adele and Jade when it comes to all the bitching and nastiness going around. He hasn't said a word or do anything along the lines of what the other two have been doing. Sure he may have laughed along at some of the their comments about Sophie but it doesn't make him public enemy number 1 does it?

Alex to win. <banzai>Place your bets NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!! </banzai>

Is this the same guy who wailed about Sep11 ruining his soon to go stratospheric modelling career, stomped around like a prissy lady-boy for a week, dumped Kate in the poor side for another week in favour of his acolytes, gloated over Alison's eviction, "stirred the hornets nest" with Sandy, bitched about Spencer non stop for the first 2 weeks and generally got on everyones t*ts 'til he realised what a prat he was being?

If this is all you can say about Alex in all the weeks he's been in there then I think he's doing well. I am sure you couldn't condense any other housemates to such a short paragraph.

Yeah, that would be the same Alex!!!!!!

hehehehe - such short memories some have - all the housemates have little to recommend them though.

alex doesn't deserve being lumped with adele, jade and tim, he isn't as bitchy as him.

alex should win, he has been the most entertaining out of all the housemates, and has been true to himself.

Cat,

If you want entertainment, then it has to be Jade that provides that, not Alex. I don't dislike Alex or any of the housemates, aothlugh Jade does my head in. Alex, if he wasn't so whiny, would be my fave. I like them all - they all bring something to the house, whether it be good or bad.

...and gleefully reported to PJ the remarks Sandy made about Kate 'having the cubs of all the male HM's' thus trying to brand her as some kind of slag. Flirting wasn't a crime last time I checked.

I'm sorry but he never said that. All he meant was that because of September 11, his livelyhood was damaged, like many careers, how on earth do you get from that, that all that loss of life didn't matter. In situations like that, you are gonna concentrate on personal loss to you, because if it affects your career, effectivly the terroists have damaged your life also!

Look this is a light hearted BB Forum and I think these comments about Alex are unfair. Im sure Brian would have said the same if not more so. Air Steward, don't forget.

He never 'wailed about Sep 11 ruining his career' all he said was that the campaign he'd appeared in was withdrawn; his career therefore suffered like thousands of others - if anything it just highlighted the wide reaching effects of Sept 1.

The lady-boy comment - oh that's original, he likes to be clean and tidy so must be carrying a rogue y chromosone <rolls eyes> please!

Dumped Kate in the poor side - em, exactly why <I>should</I> he have chosen her for the rich side? They aren't friends, she'd been in the poor side for 1 week so had the others he had left to choose from. She doesn't exactly put across that she'd like to be in his company. And enough of the moaning about the poor side - there's plenty in the world who live a lot worse without the choice of getting out in 7 days time or £70k at the end of it.

'Bitched about Spencer' - if you had the smelly layabout under your feet in an enclosed enviroment I think we'd all be entitled to a bitch.

Come on, surprise us, what's your PHd in??

As for gloating about Allison, listen, if you'd been treated the way he had been that week, then you'd smile too for escaping.
