Heya,

nipped out this morning and bought the Virgin Lobster 485 - mainly because its so small!

So, have been playing with it for about an hour and i can't find the ringtones on it at all! I know it has 14 polyphonic ringtones, but just cant find them anywhere on the phone!

Have looked on google and can't find any help.

Can anyone help at all? I know you're all very talented people and very clever with all modern stuff so Ive turned to you to help!

So, ANY help at all would be great, TIA.

If you go into the main menu (by pressing the top left hand button) and press sideways to find menu 3. Press the centre button to select this menu (called 'Profile').

Select 'general' and then select 'personalise'. Follow this with selecting 'ring tone', followed by 'built in'.

Hope that helps.

What do yuo think fot he phone? I really like it and have had no problems with it as of yet

I like my Lobster 485 too. I bought it because it is small enough to stick in a pocket and forget about.

Virgin is OK if you've got signal, but like any network, there are places with poor reception.

I often thought I've lost my phone as I've put it in my pocket and not been able to feel it in there...lol

But yep, I no real problems at all with the virgin network. It's a good one to be one, especially if you know a fair few other peoople using it like I do. Reception ain't too bad either. The only places I've noticed it hard to get signals (other than the usual places) is in my local Coop supermarket and in the living room of my patrnets house (every other room in the house is fine!!!!)

It took me a while to figure out how to send a picture to an email account.

Is there a way to store an email address like I do phone numbers so I don't have to type it in every time?

How do you do that?

I've not needed to send a picture to an email adress yet, but would like to know how...

On most handsets/Networks when it asks for the number you would like to MMS to, just type in an email adress. usually does it.

However, If your phone has it's own email client, etc, It'd probably be cheaper to do it that way.

But for ease of use for most people, the 'email adress in the number box' should do it.

Get ready to enter a phone number, then press the red Virgin Internet button, then type in the email address.
