O2 is a joke.
Am I the only one that thinks O2 is a joke?
It's full of shite. For a start, the customer service lines are complete bollocks. Virgin Mobile was much better, and I bet theirs were 24 hour lines too. I'm on a contract phone. I can't call any number apart from 0845, 0800, UK mobiles and UK landlines. No USA, no Big Brother, nothing. Since when are they calling the shots on which numbers I dial? I made a complaint about it. They said they'd fixed it. I still can't call US numbers. I'm constantly having problems with long texts and not recieving the second/third parts. I'm cancelling my contract at the end of this year, it's just stupid. |

You're not the only one that thinks o2 is a joke, pretty much the whole country is coming to grips with the idea

02 have been getting worse over the last year or so but I would not go as far as saying they are the worst network out there. In some areas T-Moblie is not the best.

I would move to Orange but the call bundles are expensive so i would need something like Virgin or Vodafone for calls but that wont happen anyway as im not having 2 phones again (permenantly). I will stick with T-Mobile just now and use up the 3000 free texts on Orange until i get paid my first wage

i'm stayin on Orange, i just need a phone that wont mess me about (like my 6600 does and i cant be bothered to have it reflashed & debranded) adn then i'll be happy. The replacement does need to be on Orange so i can stick my sim in it
![]() looks like i might be getting the Nokia 3220 from Dixons for £49.99 (there is the Motorola V220 for same price from there which has less memory but has a USB port, i'd quite like to have that feature which the 3220 doesn't have) |

So poor is 02 that they are gaining customers faster than any other UK mobile network. They are within 500,000 of Vodafone now with over 15 million users and they provide most of the mobile communications for the UK's emergency services (02 Airwave). 3 UK also use the 02 network where they have no coverage of their own.
With the shares rising from about £1 to £1.51 in a year and bidders lining up 'a joke' seems about the least appropraite label for this great British success. |

Yes but big doesn't mean good.
Look at businesses that have been big and then fallen on their arse when they least expect it. |

I dont know anyone on 02 that doesn't have constant problems with them!
If they were the only network company on the planet I would rather not have one- thats how bad I think they are! |

(Was formally with Vodafone, and have tried T-Mobile PAYG) O2 have over 15 million customers in the UK and are the most preferred network according to the DS poll http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/...d.php?t=159432 If O2 are a joke, someone, somewhere is having one hell of a laugh! |

Hey 3 isnt that bad. Yeah when they first started they were absolute crap, i know i got it on contract, but the network seems to be stable enough for now... no more dropped calls no more no signal, no more diverting straight to voicemail while phone was on and in a decent signal strength area.. I'm still with 3 and as the saying goes it aint that bad, cheap too
