She is an absolute star in the making.

Sharon made a complete error of judgement not putting her through last year, but in that time she has matured and simply oozes talent - so much potential at such a young age, i'm keeping everything crossed Louis lets her realise her true ability and gives her the chance to blow us away

I really do think that she has what it takes to go all the way. She has swallowed her pride enough to come back, and is a true fighter - sure she may show emotion, but that's just her revealing her human side which is great to see, she is instantly loveable, you feel really protective over her and she has great style too.

I'm hoping lots of others will get behind me supporting her for the big time! She has X Factor written all over her

she is my fav at the moment. i can see her doing well after the show as well. with the right producers she could be a really good rnb artist with credability. plus im pretty sure she is from my home town so i probobly should be suppourting her.

I just posted in another thread, but I was so impressed last night. She stuck in my mind much more than any others.

Heh, me too. Someone tell me which thread to keep posting in? Things like this confuse me!

At least it's not as bad as BB when there were lots 'Official Appreciation Threads' for each housemate. That was confuzzling.

are you all mad? Did you hear her performances the last 2 weeks, she sounds like she's singing down a tube, she keeps saying she can sing Aretha , well i can't wait os i bet its hilarious, she can't sing to save her life and its so annoying how she gets through each week on the sympathy vote.
Why is she still there when there are talents like Brenda and Maria. They deserve to win not scabby chenai who is ashamed of her home town. What wrong with Bradford compared to other cities. She is crap , she doesn't deserve to be there GET CHENAI OUT

Chenai is fine, she gets nervous, if she can control that she'll be ace.
gal2. This thread is for supporters, there are plenty of other threads to slag her off if that is your wish.

oh please! Grow up.
None of us that vote for Chenai do it out of sympathy so get off your high horse.
If don't like Chenai fair enough but please respect the fact that some of us do like her voice and are voting for her purely because we do like her. Nothing to do with sympathy.

I think you're overestimating the great British public there, I reckon there'll be plenty of people who do vote for Chenai out of sympathy, there's been a few posts on here to that effect.
When i first saw the Vt clip where Chenai bleats about her little brother and getting out of Bradford I was appalled that she could stoop to this kind of emotional blackmail, but then I realised that the clip was probably just one part of a long interview, and the producers decided to show that particular bit and then cut to her mum and little brother in the audience, it wasnt Chenai's decision.

Everyone has a story this year, its just Chenai's is being pushed particularly hard, possibly because she's so teary. I get the impression this year that the makers of Xfactor and the phone companies really want to increase the money they get from phone votes and this is how theyre doing it.

exactly. So why is she getting the blame? I still dont think its fair to say people are voting for her out of sympathy. If i remember corectly in week one a HUGE deal was made out of the fact Andy was a bin man with Simon and Sharon also bringing it up when judging him.
I just think its unfair that chenai is being singled out and blamed for what the producers do.
As i've said on another thread if i were to vote for someone out of sympathy, Chenai isnt the first person on the show i would pick. Shayne and Andy have also had pritty rough backgrounds. Its just a shame Chenai gets slated for something she has no control over.
If she didnt wear her heart on her sleave would she still get slated as much i wonder.

Strikes me as the kind of girl who will say or do anything to justify underperforming most (not all) of the other acts.

One or two of her remarks to the judges this week were downright childish - The thought process (or total lack of it) behind admitting to Simon that she can't sing as well as the other girls but excusing it with the fact they are much older than her was straight from the playground. LOL.

Sorry wasn't going to post on here as it's an appreciation thread, but just have to point out that Andy and Shayne don't play on it Chenai does!

for the millionath time chenai doesnt chose what they show on the vt and she certainly isnt the one who told them to show her mum and bro in the audience.

but she is the one who inexplicably is 'doing it to help her brother get out of a bad place' or something.

Its nice to have ONE thread where fans can discuss, without having to fend off anti's. There are plenty of other threads for that sort of opinion anyway, so I dont see what the problem is. ONE thread is hardly denying anyone their free speech, when there are plenty of other threads available.

Anyway the mods have said that Appriciation threads are for just that.
I wish they put it in the T&C's though, yes, it is covered by the 'keep on topic' rule, but maybe should be explicitly stated to avoid confusion?

Maria? What's her particular talent? Bending down to display her spaniel's ears.

What's inexplicable about it and what's wrong with it?

I find it much more genuine coming from a girl of Chenai's age the earliest possible opportunity to do this than from someone like Andy who has had 20 odd years to do something about being a binman.

i think Chenai is genuine as well.
i hope she gets a ballad again this week
Good luck to her shes only 19 so its not like this is her last chance to make it big. With or without the x factor i hope she does get a chance to live out her dream

There is already a Chenai Appreciation thread.

You should do a forum search.

Starting several Chenai appreciation threads doesn't help her, the idea is to start one appreciation thread and stick with that one.

And no, using the word 'Official' doesn't make it official.
