re sms messages
not really a mobile question but im sure someone can help/advise,i have a new dect digi phone at home here 2 handsets and it has sms messaging facility ok,
i have found i can send messages to mobiles/land lines but when they reply i always get it as a bt 1571 answer,so my phone rings (showhing my own number..weired ) and it says hello this is bt 1571 blah blah blah you have new messages,then proceeds to read them out in that daft computer voice,what id really like or thought i could have is to have them sent to me as text messages like you do on a mobile? so i could read them myself is this possible and how do i do it?? i currently have bt 1571 enabled on my line even though my new phone has a answer machine built in,do i need to cancel this or set up my phone diffrently??
i currently have a philips dect 817
