Has Graham Norton gone too far?

Let me set the record straight first. I am a hugh Graham Norton fan, & have no time for Jade - but I am beginning to think that Graham Norton has gone too far with his Jade jokes. Yes they are funny, especially as I think it was him who started all those pig jokes about her - but they are getting to be a bit cruel. I know in some ways she has brought it on herself, but I am beginning to feel sorry for her & don't think she deserves as much slagging off as she gets as it now verges on hatred. After all she's just some sad little cow on a game show, not Hitler. Does any one else agree?

I agree, I'm not fussed about Norton cos he takes the mick out of a lot of people but some people are acting like sad little angry News Of The World reading knee jerk reactionary pillocks when it comes to Jade. I worry that some actually do want her head on a plate!!

She deserves everything she gets.

I, too, felt for her somewhat, as she has obviously been let down somewhere in her education (let alone the BB3 prodcuers selecting such a frail persona in the first place).

However, since her constant bullying/bitching for no apparent reason, I feel she deserves to reap what she has sown.

And I'm still waiting for someone to give Ginge a good kickin'.

She is an immature bully.

I think she is getting off lightly. I hope she is booooooed, when she comes out (Soon Hopefully)

...it's just a shame that Sophie is the one to have suffered.

Agree.

Its interesting that many of the people who were most upset by Jade's behaviour are now in a rage because she's changed it. Doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps they just like being in a rage and the attention it generates (hang on, isn't that what they accuse Jade of???!!!) Isn't there some psychological theory that people tend to dislike in others what they dislike about themselves?

I like Graham Norton but think he goes too far sometimes.

Nobody could ever go too far with Jade. She put herself in this position willingly and greedily and she's got to be able to take everything that is rightfully coming to her.

She is an ignorant, scheming, manipulative, immature, ugly, fat cow - all observations based on her behaviour over the last few weeks. This is, after all, how she has chosen to present herself to the world. She has made herself the most hated woman in Britain and she deserves everything that's coming to her.

I imagine that this will include:

1) a landslide vote (the biggest ever on BB) to get her out of the house
2) Jeers, boos and worse when she exits the house
3) a video compilation of her worst most irrational and crazed moments in the house
4) tears, tears and more tears.

To be fair, I think there's a real risk of her coming apart when she's turfed out and is exposed to the extent of the nation's hatred for her. I hope C4 is insured for this.

Richard.

Well then, some of the most evil killers in the country can rest assured that, as evil as they are, the public backlash against them will be nowhere near the reception of hate Jade 'big gob' Goody will get!

Yeah - why doesn't Graham move on to Tory Boy. I think the Jade jokes have run dry. He should definately start on Tim. After what Clever Boy said last night about money & homeless people he needs a good kicking!

I doubt it's possible to be rude enough about Warthog. Graham should troll here for new material methinks, he'd have to tone it down considerably for broadcast though.

Agree totally with what you say.

However most people will disagree, because they are just a bad as Jade.

How can any of the HM's be classed as bullies, from my experiences of being bullied it was totally different.

Has Jade pinned Sophie up against the wall and told her to leave the house or else, l don't think so.

Jade may have a big gob, she may be ugly and she may get on a lot of peoples nerves. However if people are going to class her as a bully, they should look in the mirror because they are probably just as bad.

There have been no physical attacks on Sophie and if people say that Jade has mentally bullied Sophie, all she has done is gossipped and laughed at someone she took a dislike to. Have we all not done this in the past.

Back to your original point, Jade is coming under a lot of stick some warranted, a lot more not warranted.

Then again the people you are conveying your thoughts to, are hid behind a computer screen, criticising somebody for being who they are, without a thought for that persons feelings, the only difference is that we see what is happening in the house.

He is only messing around, I as well as the u.k dislike jade and have already got my videoplayer set up for Jade's eviction next week becuase the end of last nights bb showed the way votes were gonna go. Graham doesn't mean any of it and it wouldn't suprise me that she will appear as one of his guests on the show soon.

Totally agree, the worst possible scenario would be for Jade to come out of the house hearing cheers from a big brother
rent-a-crowd and thinking shes done nothing wrong and shes a nice person.

As for Graham Norton going too far I think you have to chill out, all I have heard him say is the pig and minger jokes. Both of these are very minor things. If you want to hear of people going to far then just look at the death threats shes getting.

Jade is definitely not as stupid as she looks. Her ability to back-stab both Adele and Alex during her chat with Jonny in the garden the other day was impressive. The skills she employed on Kate, Sophie and Jonny were worthy of any government spin doctor.

For your information Chipsticks, mental bullying is alot worse than physical bullying - bruises heal, comments stay in your mind for a very long time, if not forever. The other problem with mental bullying is it can be made to feel like you are being paranoid, if noone elses notices the comments, you may just be accused of 'taking things the wrong way'.

I have been bullied at school, and in the workplace. At school, the police ended up having to be called. At work, I ended up leaving my job.

The reason why people are outraged that Jade will not get her just desserts is becasue she doesnt even mean what she is saying. There is no sincerity in her apologies, she didnt realise this all by herself, she was told by Mr Miyagi that the public had a bad perception of her. Therefore she is doing it for her own selfish reasons and not because she feels sorry.

Bullying is unacceptable, l have like yourself endured both mental and physical bullying. However what Jade has been doing is not bullying, whether it be mental or physical, childish yes, bullying no.

For Example, l go to my local pub, l do not like one or two of the people in there, and make the odd comment to others when they arrive, ie " I see tosspot Tony's in", is this bullying ?

Another example, I go to watch the Leeds Rhinos play Rugby League, you don't like the decision a referee makes and boo him, you talk to the bloke next to you about the decision. is this bullying ?

In both cases the person will feel uncomfortable and possibly paraniod, and there is the chance that you will be heard, again is this bullying.

In my opinion talking behind somebodies back is not bullying, however if Jade had intimidated Sophie on a one to one basis, ie everytime she saw her, she called her a "skinny cow" or worse, to her face, then yes you could call her a bully.

IMO The description of Bullying can cover a wide spectrum, on a scale of one to ten, Jade has not even reached one.

She may be a deceiving, childish, immature person. She is not a bully.

I totally agree Jade is not a bully - she is just immature and thoughtless. Jade was Adele's mouthpiece, If you read any of the conversations about Jade's attacks on Sophie Adele instigated them - although she is trying to distance herself now. And what really makes me laugh when reading these outraged posts is that a large majority of you slag her off for calling Sophie names behind her back when you yourselves call her a pig, fat, ugly (the list goes on) - a bit hypocrital don't you think?

Sophie can't easily remove herself from the situation, she is in a position of weakness (few friends in the house, already obviously depressed) and is having the piss taken in front of millions. I can't imagine how Piggy could be more hurtful without actually assaulting her, but she won't do that 'cos the nasty little piglet thinks she's in with a chance for 70K.

Firstly Sophie was not forced into the house, she applied to go into the house, did she think that everything would be sitting around the campfire singing happy songs ?

Secondly she chose to spend most of her time with Lee, ignoring the rest of the group, and putting herself in the position of not having many friends in the house.

I wouldnt worry to much, hopefully when Sophie gets out she will be reassured once she knows exactly what 99.9% of the viewing public think of that spiteful little cow.

Then all we have to do is wait for the piglet herself to be evicted and the SHE will know too... betya there will be more tears too... CANT WAIT!!
