Sim Free handsets
ney

This was asked a very long time ago by someone I think. Im thinking of upgrading from my 02 Sony Ericsson T230 sometime next year that I got free from 02 two years come January but would like to keep my 02 pay and go mobile number that I have had for the last 4 years. I would like a mobile that has much the same as the Sony Ericsson T230 and would pay £130 for a mobile but not anymore. A chaper mobile would be good. where would I get a Sim free handset. Would I have to go to an 02 shop and ask them and what mobile would you say is the best.

If you want to stay on O2, just get an O2 PAYG phone and stick your existing SIM in it.

If you want to change networks, get a PAYG phone on the network you want together with a PAYG SIM. Then request a PAC from O2 to port the number to your newly chosen network.

These ways will probably be cheaper than buying a sim free phone.

Most PAYG phones from the Carphone Warehouse are SIM Free handsets (unlocked) too, they just sellotape the network SIM card on top
