I cracked up a bit when Ronnie cracked up at the end

It was said the other night that Laurence Olivier, the greatest actor of his generation, told Ronnie that he regarded him as one of his favourite actors. Says it all for me.

So its still the wrong forum This is why the forums are seperated, and im sure people have the brainpower to go to the tv forum if they want to talk about ronnie barker.

I mean you dont come on here to talk about general things

RIP Ronnie Barker but I have to say that......

....at the age of er..40 something, I have never actually seen the fork handles sketch before. Where have I been?

And out of all that generation of so-called comedians, I actually quite like both Ronnies. So it seems odd, given that this is such a celebrated sketch, that I missed it. Still

Aside from those too young to have seen it, am I alone in missing this moment?

Poor old Ronnie Barker. I hadn't realised until I read it in the papers this week, that he had so much trouble with his son.

I do remember the four candles sketch - pure brilliance !!!
