Hi, does anyone know how to get rid of the sub menu orange add to the left side of the main screen, cuts half the picture off,,, very annoying,

One way would be to re-install the phone software which will take the phone back to its Factory mode. This is the mode it what have been before Orange customise the software to their preferences including adding that “annoying sum menu”. Carphone Warehouse with a service centre would able to do it or any decent Independent Mobile phone store. Beware anything you added to the phone like Pictures. Tones and even numbers stored on the phone can sometimes be wiped off during the process.
