It's amazing isn't it - 3 of the top people in the music industry (so they keep telling us ) picking the songs and they made a right pigs ear out of just about every one.

Never mind, my boys done good!
Fist fight last night with my friend as to which one of us spotted them first - whatever she says, it was me!

Hi, just dropping by to add my support to the Journey South appreciation thread

It's a relief to be with some like-minded people (and hopefully on the winning team!) after months of loneliness supporting Craig on BB6

- please don't hold it against me!!

What I like about these guys is, apart from the fact they can obviously sing and look good too, they just seem more grounded, normal if you like, than the rest of the wannabes and there's something nicely understated about the way they perform. Talent, looks and attitude - just a shame they can't be tranformed into a female version of themselves, then they'd really have it all for me

You liked Craig!! Can the two sets of people be any different!

It's okay..I won't hold it against you...you must have been having a moment!

As for the rest of the stuff you say...totally agree. Welcome to the thread.

Oh and you ask what is it about these boys?

They have the X-factor..that's what!

Still support from me - just stay away from the Robson and Jerome songs Mr Cowell, nothing to see there ......
Also hoping they don't get anymore styled - looking good at the moment but not sure the hair needed cutting (long hair good!)

I thought that at first..but actually I think it suits him now.

It makes his face look less heavy and younger. And gives him the phwoaar factor.

I love the way the older brother so looks after the younger one. It is so obvious. And so sweet.

Oh and hopefully after Louis taking the P out of him for the 'unchained ,elody' thing on the xtra factor..Simon will stay away from it.

Don't count your chickens on not having 'he ain't heavy, he's my brother' though! Still...I like that song.

I agree about the phwoaar factor - Saturday nights are getting a bit chokka now, what with Darren and James on BBC and this now this pair!
I have a strange feeling you could be right with the song choice ......... when do we find out this weeks offerings?

Mindy..you and I obviously have the same choice in men!

The wierd thing about Darren, James and Journey south, is that I never 'fancied' any of them before. I just liked them for who they were.

It has crept up on me all of a sudden with all of them! (Actually I have never liked Darren Gough, so that WAS a surprise).

I know I am getting to be a bit of a tart on here with all the men I like but if they all stay in a few more weeks I will need cold showers! And I am not going out on a Saturday night until Christmas!

When I started this thread...all I liked about JS were their voices and charisma.

Amazing what a haircut and a polish can do, isn't it!

Great idea - had thought about it myself, but have no ability in that area!!! (Also that particular one is already taken...has to be journey-south)

Does anyone know if the lads write any of their own material - I know they wont get to do any on the show, but that would add another bit of something to the package....It always seems a shame to go through all this X-factor/Pop Idol process just to find someone who can sing covers.

Something rock-y would be good - everyones songs seemed so predictable - at least the Elton song was a bit less so. Guess U2 has bene a bit 'done-to-death' but maybe one of their less used ones?

I've started to go into overdrive with Journey South.

I think they are fantastic. Great guys and great singers.

I really hope they do well, it seems as if they deserve it.

Lol, you seem as angry as me. I kept checking the time to see if there would be still be time for them to be shown. But, alas, all there was, was Chico. God damn you boy!

Well, that show's been deleted from my Sky+, Friday night better bring me some JS, or I will be thinking about complaining!

I didn't get to watch it Boho, but by the sound of it I didn't miss much. If it was all about Chico and The Conways, then I got off lightly.
