I've been waiting for the Xtra Factor all day!

If we don't get to hear what they're singing, I'll be mighty miffed!

Okay. I am a bad appreciation thread founder..but I watched the show (and missed ten minutes) and have searched through here, plus watched the 24/7 show.

Does anyone know what the boys are singing?

Is it 'the sound of silence?'

I came on here to ask exactly the same thing.

I wouldn't actually be surprised if they just skip past the boys tonight in the live show. They don't seem to care about them that much.

Although, I was impressed with the little psychic stint, and Carl's 'big' feet. *Wink Wink*!

Hmm..big feet = *sigh*

They better not skimp past them..we are all on crotch watch duty tonight guys and gals!

Well, not only were they great tonight! (though God forbid if they get to go out on a judges vote) they sung one of my favourite songs.

I *crosses fingers and whistles* cannot see them going for a week or two yet.

But the Everley brothers? Sharon...please!

Okay..I do not normally bump my own threads..but there is an anti JS thread that is gaining ground...so I have to as that makes me sad.

JS lovers come here and state your claim now!

I thought that they were great tonight.

But I do prefer Carl's voice. I think that he should actually sing more.

Amid the carnage and controversy of 'Sharon's Choice' this evening, it's easy to overlook just how damn good JS were tonight.

I was very, very impressed!!

Week by week they are creeping there way up, and now they are my 2nd favorite act (behind Andy - and I so adore him!!).

They made a fab choice of song, and put on a great performance.

Super!!

Yeah!! The settee took a bit of a hammering when I was jumping up and down both after their performance and then the results show......I can't help but applaud them when they come on, feel like i'm there!!!

Gasp!! You'll put a jinks on them!!

The many worry for JS is that Simon is their mentor, and he's acts are dropping like flys. It is vital that they remain out of the bottom two at the moment!!!

Oh, and I think they have X appeal!!!

No! I whispered it..it doesn't count!

Established JS rules a few weeks ago on another thread (that I sadly started as I don't get out much and just watch them all the time), if you whisper good stuff about them or whistle nonchalently as you say it..it doesn't count!

I started a thread (lost in the void of Saturday night) actually agreeing with you, as I think JS is his only hope now, which is a lot of pressure for them and Simon. .

All we can do is just keep behind them, love the fact that they are just brilliant and in our, more 'tipsy moments' keep 'crotch watch' going!

*whistles like she does not care and strolls off thread*

Hi JS fans,

I wouldn't have joined the appreciation thread if I'd known that 'crotch watch' was going to be part of the agenda - personally speaking two large strategically placed guitars would be fine by me

Seriously, much as I love the song, I didn't think it did them any favours tonight, some great harmonies from the brothers but a bit low-key for a three minute 'impress the public' slot.

I think (hope) they've got a lot more in their locker with the right songs. Most of the performers really seemed to up the stakes tonight so they're facing some stiff (in the non-crotch-watch sense of the word) competition. Thought Shayne was great last week, sensational tonight, I can really see a Shayne-JS shoot out in the final
