Sorry but Im annoyed by this. They did it last last year aswell. I like SCD and would like to watch it but its going to clash with the X Factor again and Ive already got into that as its been on for a few weeks now.

Surely it would do alot better ratings wise if it didn't clash with a show thats already getting close to 10 million viewrs

Yeah but it gets even more kudos if it beats X Factor than if it gets 10million against something poor! Thats why ITV started it early and timed the live rounds with the start of SCD!

Here's an idea: repeats on Sundays ITV2! (or video X Factor like I'm gonna!)

think Beeb have made mistake though and as SCD schedules done after X factor had started they had every opportunity to move the show away - my whole family are dance teachers but we are all into x factor and as early shows of SCD not as interesting as latter stages we are going to watch start switch to x factor and then watch results show we doesnt clash

Then as dance teachers u should support the thing that has boosted your business over the past year or so!!!

Be interesting to see who comes out on top.

think they will split it and have similar audiences - would not say scd has made significant differences to our classes adult wise but def has encouraged kids

I agree OP. I would prefer if they thought of their audiences...plus they get better ratings.

Still, I will watch SCD over X factor, whereas I would watch them both..so all in all, someone misses out...mad though it is.

They should think of the licence payer..not their ratings.

Watch the repeats on ITV2!! Therefore noone misses out!

SCD has definitely made an impact on our classes (I am a dance teacher also). It is the children;s classes that have grown. I'm looking forward to our weekly SCD chats that we had last series Have you all heard about the new Ballroom film that is coming out? Mad Hot Ballroom

hi peaches yes heard of that new film and yes if you read my post whilst scd did not make significant impacts on Adult classes they DID impact our kids classes significantly. There is so much interest in the school for this new series have even written a subdomain to our school site just for SCD

I agree with the OP, what happened to the days when you could map out your Sat night viewing..6pm bbc1, 7pm itv...etc, no they have to put the good programmes up against each other : I myself have just recently got freeview so can do as someone has suggested and watch ITV2 for x factor on the Sunday, but some folk still don't have that, also the dvd has taken over from the old vidio and mostly they don't record, so again as it has been said, why don't they consider the public and when they know they have a hit show, then at least change the schedule so they don't clash.

The BBC tried a tactical move and could not compete with an established show with ITV. I can see it being moved in a few weeks if this continues to be the case.

I am fortunate enough to have access to Sky+ and ITV2, so will continue to watch both, even if that takes up half my Sunday (when I am away on Saturdays).
