I put my favourite songs as my alarms so wake up happy and it gets louder and louder - if you dont hear it after a minute it will go off every nine minutes if I am correct!! My advice is to downlaod a loud sone to the card and use that as an alarm

Me again
I think I've looked at too many phones and got confused, the one I like is the p800. I saw the w800 in a couple of shops and was apalled at how grubby the casing had got. Sorry ![]() Edited for a PS of course the p800 is not a new model but the w800 is. So I'm off to start all over again

He went to the Vodafone store and got one without any problems as was told when he told them what I'd said that Vodafone have plenty in stock. The only difference I noticed was that his Vodafone one wasn't branded and he's a business customer, so not sure if they have different non-branded stock for business users and Vodafone live crap for the rest of you. If so then it may be there's plenty of business ones about. Another thing I noticed is that he's not got the MP3 limitation on his handset that some Voda users have complained about. |

It does start of quite quiet, but after a few seconds sounds more like a burgler alarm going off in the room and always wakes me up

Me again. As you know I was getting confused over models, but this one does sound good. Thanks for all the alarm replies. Now I wonder does the phone get really grubby with use, (can't help it - I'm a woman ) The phone sounds good - but I'm not sure it looks good - is htere any other colour than orange? |

I just wanted to update that after 3 or so weeks with teh Sony W800i, I am loving it. Every person I show seems so impressed with the music/photo quality and I think it looks really nice.
Definitely the best phone I have owned so far... I just wish the video recording was of a higher quality - thats it
