My K750i on O2 definatly works and I did my mates W800i recently too.

I have a friend on Vodafone (unbranded handset) that had problems updating his, but it turns out he missed a step on the update due to their instructions not being 100% clear. When I went to his house to help him he was suprised that there was another step which I'd done and it worked.

If it's still not working then try contacting Sony Ericsson support.”

mine worked on SEUS a few times, now when i tried i get the messege saying my device is not permitted, am also on 02. i think they have stopped it.

I carnt see why o2 would block the upgrade of software. O2 do not lock their handsets to the network (pay monthly phones and / or vanilla devices). If this is the case that a restriction is present then it will have been SE who implemented the restriction not the network operator.
