e550 is unavailable on o2......iv got the next best thing E547 settings which are similar.......
Motorola V547 GPRS WAP Pay as you go settings Please ensure that when entering 'O2' into the settings that the letter 'O' is selected and not a zero. The handset has a 4 way ‘Navi’ key with two soft keys to the left and right of it and a Menu Key above it. *PLEASE NOTE* - All steps must be completed to ensure the settings are correctly configured. 1. From the main menu scroll to ‘Web Access’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 2. Highlight ‘Web sessions’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 3. Highlight ‘New Entry’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 4. Highlight ‘Name’ and press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). Enter ‘O2 WAP GPRS’ and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 5. Highlight ‘Homepage’ and press ‘Change’ (Right Soft key). Enter ‘http://wap.o2.co.uk’ and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 6. Highlight ‘Service Type 1’ and press ‘Change’ (Right Soft Key). Highlight ‘HTTP’ and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 7. Highlight ‘Gateway IP 1’ and press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). Enter ‘193.113.200.195’ and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 8. Highlight ‘Port 1’ and press ‘Change’ (Right Soft Key). Enter ‘8080’ and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 9. Ignore ‘Domain 1’. 10. Ignore ‘Service Type 2’. 11. Ignore ‘Gateway IP2’. 12. Ignore ‘Port2’. 13. Ignore ‘Domain 2’. 14. Ignore ‘DNS 1’. 15. Ignore ‘DNS 2’. 16. Highlight ‘Timeout ‘and press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). Highlight ‘5 Minutes’ and press ‘select’ (right Soft Key). 17. Leave ‘CSD No 1’. 18. Leave ‘User Name 1’. 19. Leave ‘Password 1’. 20. Highlight ‘Speed (Bps) 1’ and press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). Highlight ‘9600’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 21. Highlight ‘Line Type1’ and press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). Highlight ‘ISDN’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 22. Ignore ‘CSD No 2’. 23. Ignore ‘User name 2’. 24. Ignore ‘Password 2’. 25. Highlight ‘Speed (Bps) 2’ and press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). Highlight ‘9600’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 26. Highlight ‘Line Type 2’ and press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). Highlight ‘ISDN’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft key). 27. Highlight ‘GPRS APN’ and press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). Enter ‘payandgo.o2.co.uk’ and press ’OK’ (Right Soft Key). 28. Highlight ‘Username’ and press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). Enter ‘payandgo’ and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 29. Highlight ‘Password’ press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). Enter ‘password’ and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 30. Press ‘Done’ (Left Soft Key). 31. Highlight the web session you have just created and press the middle soft key. Highlight ‘Set Default’ and press ‘select. (Right Soft Key). 32. Press ‘Exit’ (Left Soft Key). 33. Press ‘back’ (Left Soft key) to get to the main menu. |

Select ‘HTTP’ and press ‘Select’ (Right Soft Key). 8. Highlight ‘Gateway IP 1’ and press ‘Change’ (Right Soft Key). Enter ‘193.113.200.195’ and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 9. Ignore ‘Speed (bps) 2’ 27. Ignore ‘Line Type 2’ 28. Highlight ‘GPRS APN’ and press Change (Right Soft Key). Enter ‘payandgo.o2.co.uk’ and press OK (Right Soft Key). 29. Highlight ‘Username’ and press Change (Right Soft Key). Enter ‘payandgo’ and press OK (Right Soft Key). 30. Highlight ‘Password’ and press change (Right Soft Key). Enter ‘password’ and press OK (Right Soft Key). 31. Press ‘Done’ (Left Soft Key). 32. Press ‘Back’ (Left Soft Key) 3 times to return to standby screen. Setting up MMS. 33. From the default display press the top centre soft key 34. Scroll to 'Messages' and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 35. Highlight 'New Message' and press the top centre soft key 36. Highlight 'Inbox Setup' and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 37. Highlight 'MMS message Setup' and press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). 38. Ignore Hide fields 39. Ignore Auto Signature 40. Highlight ‘Download’ then press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key).Highlight ‘Automatic’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 41. Ignore Filter 42. Highlight and ‘Expire After’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). Highlight ‘5 days’ and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 43. Highlight and ‘Reply Type’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). Highlight ‘MMS’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 44. Highlight and ‘Size Limit’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). Highlight ‘100KB’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 45. Highlight ‘Server Info’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). Highlight ‘o2 MMS’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). * If O2 MMS is not present, press Select - this will display a list of MMS servers. If O2 MMS is not on the list, select a profile and press the top centre soft key, scroll down and select 'Edit' and press SELECT 46. Highlight ‘Service Name’ and press ‘change’ (right Soft Key). Enter ‘O2 MMS’ and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 47. Highlight ‘Server Name’ and press ‘change’ (right Soft Key). Enter ‘http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002’ and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 48. Highlight ‘Web Session Name’ and press ‘change’ (Right Soft Key). Highlight ‘O2 WAP GPRS’ and press ‘select’ (Right Soft Key). 49. Press DONE. If the connection (server info) you have just set up does not have a tick beside it, highlight it and press SELECT - this will take you back to MMS Message Setup 50. Press Back - this will take you back to Message Setup 51. Highlight 'Use GPRS' and press ‘select’(Right Soft Key). Highlight 'Yes' and press ‘OK’ (Right Soft Key). 52. Press DONE |

You need to make sure the simcard is provisioned for gprs/mms before you can use this service if you could use it in the previous phone then simcard should be set-up already..and u just have try connecting later on the handset

call care and see if your simcard has the service provisioned....some simcards won't be auto be provisioned

My E550 used to be on t-mobile, and there is no 'web settings' in the main menu, only a bit called t-zones. Any idea how i could change it?
My sim is set up for MMS but I cant download them as I think the wap settings are wrong
