You can't really comment on her conversation to be fair. Some people are interested in different things.

There's no reason for her to talk about quantum physics if it doesn't float her boat.

If two people try to have a basic respect for each other, I can't see why they can't find something to talk about. Even if it is small talk.

Amazing how you can invent a reality to fit you're views...Kate is the only housemate who I've heard able to list all the other housemates surnames, where they live, they're siblings names, and all sorts of details. How can she do that if she's paying not interest in them?

When Kate was asked this question I thought she was easily the most likely in the house to get it right and I wonder if BB had got an "easy" question ready for each housemate based on the things they've shown most interest in as it's clear BB wanted the divide gone. The fact Kate got it wrong is purely due to pressure and thinking the S's were going to be the tricky bit.

I consider myself a BB adict who can name not only this years housemates, but those from BB1 and BB2 in the order they were evicted etc, and when I tried to do the list in alphabetical order, I missed the 2 L's...it's easily done, and I wasn't even under the pressure Kate was. Not one of the housemates when they tried after the task got the list right it should be remembered, so the seemingly easy question was deceptively hard.

As for the number of mirrors being easy, remember that Kate hasn't seen the rich side shower room for 2 weeks, where as Alex confessed he's intimate with every tree in the garden and he still got it wrong.

If you have critisisms of housemates, at least make them fir the facts before making a fool of yourself but trying to invent things to fit your views. (awaiting flame by return of post)

Under that sort of pressure it is easy to forget because me for an example I had an exam 2 weeks ago I revised all the right stuff but on the day my mind went blank maybe it was nerves and that is excatly how Kate felt knowing that she must have it right to have the barriers down so I dont think Kate is dumb.

The coverage I watch on E4 shows her to be a witty, fun, intelligent, caring, kind, conciderate, spirited, nice attractive girl who deserves to win. In which case, surely not showing these qualities on the edits demonstrates exactly the opposite of your self deluded theory.

I agree. Many years ago in an O level maths exam for which I'd got 99% on the mock, I froze when reading the exam paper and went from complete confidence to absolute terror in moments....thankfully in a 3 hour exam I could take the first 15 minutes in blind panic and still go on to ace it once I'd calmed down....pressure can do weird stuff to memory and anyone too sheltered to have experienced that is a lucky bod!

Actually, I can't form an opinion on her. She is blond and pretty (in a plain sort of way). She won't suffer from any ageist, fattist, racist or homophobic trends in the voters. She (by definition) is femail which when it comes to the last two may not favour her.

But I still can't fathom one way or t'other if she is genuine, shrewd or a bit of a drip. Sophie, when she let herself go and was not being bullied, had so much more "life" about her.

I'm really undecided. She does not get much in-depth attention from C4. I'm sure she is a last-4 ite. her current popularity may not indicate she will win. The male vote is split 3 ways for now.

I've always liked her. And after last night she derserves to win.
I was hoping she would refuse to be the one to answer the last question - you know? do an Alex or Adele and come up with some lame excuse for not putting themselves on the line and answering the question - then, justify it to the group with some other lame excuse........like, 'this is my decision and I don't see why people are moaning about it'
She never hesitated - like most hero's, she just went for it!
Course, I knew some people wouldn't give her credit - but, who cares for the opinion of begrudgers?. I don't.
She's all for 'what's good for the group as a whole' Kate has all the attributes of a decent human being. Sooner or later she learn to stop freting over remarks made by men like Sandy (what a loser) and Alex. She's just too trusting for her own good. And that's not a bad fault, as it goes.

P.S. I wonder if Alex told her he didn't get the answer right even though he had more time to think and no pressure?

The male vote is split how? You mean male's viewing will vote for Kate, Jade or Adele? I think Jade's obvious unpopularity rules her out, and Adele is only liked by people who like scheming game playing as a tactic to win rather than as the housemates are told to "go in and be yourself". I really don't think men I know watching the show will be voting for Jade or Adele...but a lot like Alex and Jonny, so maybe that's the 3 way split you refered to?...

I like Kate because she is a good egg, a tomboy who doesn't have a slick chat-up line but can be relied on when the chips are down. I don't say she is perfect or unselfish, but Jade and Adele sure make her look good.
Jade is silly and bitchy in a childish sort of way. Adele is far from childish. The puppeteer - the schemer. Isn't it interesting how ALL HMs think Jade is a load of --- ever since Adele and Alex started to work their magic?

I only hope Kate doesn't buddy up to her too much and get in too close. It'd be like buddying up to alien - ie. The minute you realise she is up to no good is TOO LATE!!!!!

So you would have got Kates questions right would you ? under all the pressure and live on TV? with only 30secs to think about it and then you have to get it right FIRST time ? and as previously stated Kate hadn't seen the rich bathroom for 2 weeks and I have never seen any proof of any extensive mirror checking from Kate, you should be writing about Tim for that complaint. Also I think Kate understands the housemates perfectly well, afterall she has had Jade sussed for a long long time now. Also how can she not have conversations when she is stuck with 6 other people? of course she talks to them!
