But, what if she really was: If so, her atempts to encourage Kate and Johnny to vote for Jade would mean that they wouldn't vote for Adele, and then Adele, Alex and Jade could nominate Kate. The result would be Johnny and Kate nominated, with maybe Alex as well, and Kate on her way.

Unfortunately, Adele doesn't work as deviously as some people think she does, and it is unlikely Kate will be up for eviction.

PS Jade is going nowhere....she has a lot of support outside the house, particularly from the older viewers.

I am undecided as far as Adele is concerned. Either she is two faced and is doing what you say i.e. trying to get Johnny and Kate to vote for Jade or she has finally seen "Jadey" for what she really is, a childish gossip for want of a better word. I have never felt sorry for Jade she knows exactly what she is doing, exactly what she does back in reality, calling her mates to one another, surely we all know people like that. As far as support in the outside world is concerned for Jade, I think the only people who will support her are those who behave in the same manner. I for one think she should go and hopefully the HMS will nominate her this week. I have no doubt in my mind that she will be evicted with a huge majority. As far as Adele is concerned I am reserving judgement and will see how things go this week.

Idea's that Adele are two faced are groundless? What else is it called when you say you like someone to their face and then tell someone else you hate that same person? What else it it called when the person you say you like best of all in the house is whoever you happen to be alone with and can get away with saying it about without the last person you said it to realising?

Adele is concentrating hard on pointing out flaws in everyone she can to distract attention from people nominating her, exactly the same tactic that BB1 Nick used except he made the mistake of going one step further and writing things down. What Adele is doing isn't against the rules of BB as long as she doesn't actually say who she's nominating, but it serves the purpose of planting the seed in everyone's mind that she'll be voting for x/y so if they join her vote they'll stand less chance of being nominated themselves.

This is clever in terms of psychology in the house undoubtedly, but arogant to think that people on the outside won't see it and think of it as a bad thing and hence ultimately it's a flawed tactic.

The real sensible tactic anyone scheming to win would take is to nominate Jonny and Alex as they've both demonstrated some degree at least of public support, so having both up for eviction guarentees getting rid of one good competition.

Adele is squirming her way out of her use of Jade to set Jade up as her patsie to take the fall for all the back biting and mud slinging behind closed doors that Adele has been helping to perpetuate. I hope when Jade explodes about it when/if she's nominated she'll drag Adele down with her by confronting her...but I hope it doesn't turn to violence as poor Jade would get a pasting I think!

epi - I'll ask as I did in another thread for you to explain your real reasons about why you have this deep hatred for Kate? If you can answer with reasoned arguments and examples (real ones!) then I'll be prepared to acknowlege your point. Instead you seem to look for reasons to perpetuate you're existing feelings in the face of overwhelming counter evidence which seems like a sign of a deluded personality...

There are two things that I am serious about with respect to Big Brother. Firstly, Kate is an annoying child, and secondly, Adele is not two-faced and she is my favourite person in the house.

This forum has been infiltrated by young people with serious thoughts about light entertainment TV. Shouldn't they be out and about standing around talking about Britney Minogue or *****?

Adele heard the crowds and she's running scared....She is tainted by association and well she knows it...Her 'about turn' is desparate!! .......How the housemates view her this week is crucial to her....It will be interesting to see how the nominations go. Personally I think it will be Jade & Adele

It's ridiculous to assert that Adele isn't two-faced. It's fine to like her, I still quite like her even though she is a two-faced bitch on wheels at times, as far as I'm concerned she's playing the game - although not as well as she was originally, she's sort of scuppered herself on Jade really - so Adele not as clever as she thinks really.

As for Kate - not my favourite person either - although I'm warming to her more than I was - especially after the task last night.

The point is that we all like/dislike different people...we don't have to have good reasons for this, mostly we don't - we're just going on our gut feelings of "Kate's not a bad girl/Kate is an utter ****" - neither is right or wrong, but we all need to recognise that our likes and dislikes are basically irrational and not worth getting worked up over...unless it's Jade we're talking about, in which case the general consensus should be that anyone who does like her is suffering the early stages of insanity -

surely that is one of the key aims of the GAME- to be as 2-faced as you can, but be GOOD at it! Unlike BB1 and BB2, there has been nastiness in BB3 from day 1, which is not natural, so I would guess EVERY HM (except Spencer who assessed things over 3 days) came in with a gameplan and they are now more or less trying to live up too it!

This is the first BB Forum I've been in. In previous BB (as in 1 and 2) did the Forum here get so nasty and childish towards the end? So what if Adelle is two faced. What is the criteria for that anyway. Is it slagging someone off and then talking to them. In that case they have all done it and Jade more than anyone else. Can we at least make this fair and call them all two-faced and have done with this pathetic witch hunt.

I think we can pretty much gurantee Jades nomination this week, but I doubt very much if Adele will be nominating her why? because she has managed to get all the other housemates to do it for her. Adele had to do some serious bridgebuilding after refusing to revolt with the others as tim so kindly pointed out to her and Alex they were in danger of being isolated by the group. I believe Adele maniputlated Jade at first planting a seed in her head and allowing Jade to run with it without her (Adele) looking bad, but now it is backfiring on her she now realises that Jade is somewhat a loosecannon. I also believe that Adele has suddenly gone off Jade because she is the only HM who can sufficently wind her up enough to make her mask slip. Now granted she is playing a game but I can't remember Brian being this sneaky too win last years BB. Last nights episodes made me realise just how two faced she was when she turned to Alex after apologising to Jade that she did it just to shut her up. She was constantly bitching about Kate last week with Jade but this week she suddenly loves her. I agree they are not there to be friends but I Just believe she is sneaky and manipulative.

Only quoting the sensible bit of epi's post you notice...I'll turn on my bull detector in future when reading their posts...I must admit to having been suckered into thinking they were serious in the past...d'oh...then again, some people have made the same mistake reading some of the drivel I've posted!

If you truely can't discriminate between Adele's behaviour and the other non-Jade housemates then I'd suggest you examine your life carefully, as either you can't judge people very well or you've only ever met very unplesant two faced people and so you can't tell the difference.

What Adele has been doing is find flaws in people behind their back and then pretend to love them to bits to their face, and to do this constantly and carefully judging those she's talking to to tell them what they want to hear. What other people do is let off steam about people when frustrated and then either talk to that person about it, or try and ignore it diplomatically.

The difference is Adele hates everyone behind their backs and loves everyone to their face, and the things she chooses to talk about she picks to fit the current mood of the person she's confiding in towards the victim of her attacks. She'll find whatever she thinks someone else doesn't like about somebody and agree with those faults.

Take for contrast the way Kate and Alex have interacted. Alex obviously doesn't/didn't like Kate and despite having talked about it in private, Kate has also tried to approach Alex about it to clear the air...Same with Jonny and Alex, Sophie and Jade, Kate on behalf of Sophie with Jade and Tim...etc.

Adele thrives on conflict instead of facing the gripes she has, and seems to make more out of them at every opportunity.

I would have to agree though that in recent days, just about every housemate has been guilty of treating Jade in this two faced way, but I think they see it as BB1 Nick did "Live by the sword, die by the sword"...a sort of "what goes around, comes around".

Er, when? Name the instances then!

I am no fan of Adele but I find it bewildering how all her haters exaggerate a simple comment and turn it into something it wasn't.
