SE W800i mp3 file transfer question

Hi everybody,

just got the new W800i..looks nice , but it is currently charging hence it gave me time to have a look at the manual. It says there that in order to transfer the mp3 files you need to use the accompanied software.
As my PC actuallyhappens to have an inbuild media card reader for the memory stick I was wondering if that software is actually necessary or if the files could easily be dragged and dropped to the memory stick without that software.
Or even easier (my PC has an inbuild bluetooth function) send it via blootooth straight to the phone?
Anybody avtually done this before?

I've got the K750i, which apparently runs the same software as the W800i, and you don't have to use any software to transfer music over - I don't!

On the K750i you just need to copy your music files to /MSSEMC/Media files/audio on the Memory Stick and they just show in the 'All Music' playlist in the media player.

Fingers crossed this works for you too!

well, I'll try the suggested way first..don'r want to ruin the new gadget

Another question:

can you use .m3u playlist files (I created them with WinAmp)?

If you've got the inbuilt memory card reader then i'd suggest you use that. Bluetooth will take way too long to transfer all your songs. (its much less convenient than it sounds!!)

I'm waiting for my w800i, orange arne't getting it for weeks apparrently. Lemme know how u like it
