At Underworld there is a showdown between Danny and Jamie. Gail and Phil plan a romantic meal together but David spoils things. And over at Steve’s flat he awakes to find Liz’s new toy-boy parading around in his dressing gown.

Sounds good tonight especially Liz's toyboy parading around now wearing much

Can't wait. I missed Wednesday's episodes, will have to catch the Omnibus!

There's something about the Gail/Phil story line that I don't like and I can't put my finger on it.

Gail's been so unlucky in the men department that I think she should just give up, to be quite frank!

That Andy guy is very nice on the eye, but seems VERY gay, lol. Whether he is or not I don't know, but he comes across that way!

Jamie's hair is distracting.

Phil and Gail are  Though I did laugh at David's lines tonight.

I know it's only a soap and so forth, but it is suppose to believable and that story that Phil told Gail about the woman on the bus so forth, was so unrealistic, it was unbelieveable.

Great timing from Jack P Shepherd as David Platt again tonight.....he's a brilliant actor

Really enjoyed tonight's episode... once again excellent excellent acting in the Baldwin saga... Rupert Hill acted his delicious little socks off tonight... all in his facial expressions... and Debra Stevenson was excellent when she broke down in the street at the end.

Love Liz and the new fella... and I even thought Gail was fabulous tonight... Helen Worth can go from one emotion to a completely different one in the space of a line with no effort whatsoever... loved her shouting at David.

I kind of like him too, and he got a fair old bod on him... but there's something about him I can't place... he creeps me out a little bit.

he said to Steve that both him and Liz could take the dressing gown off him!

Loved the episode, great stuff from the Baldwins, I'm really liking Carol a lot too, hope she sticks around.

Loved David's line to Gail about "Coffee"

9/10

I agree. He was only in one scene but he made the Phil/Gail storyline worthwhile. Hopefully we will see more of him next week

I forgot to mention this the other day, but has anyone else noticed that in the last few episodes, the utterly pointless doorway in the Baldwins' house has disappeared? It's now completely open plan, which looks much better. They never showed any work being done though.

Also, how did Les find out about Danny and Leanne? Not many other people knew, and Leanne wouldn't have told him since she never speaks to him!

AND...Gail and Phil were at a restaurant that wasn't the Italian place, and also wasn't The Clock. I didn't think Weatherfield had any others!

The same way Tracey and Karen got on it last Xmas. There are stairs inside the factory which lead to the roof.

Poor Steve. I find Liz and her schoolboy friend to be very Gail nail and Phil is also rather

Apart from the above and Battersby's unnecessary OTT rant it was a very good episode.

Hope that Jamie makes it up with Frankie sooner than later.
