She should have told him to go outside with the pig or stay with Martin.

Thought it was a great ep, Frankie and Danny were v.g. But I still don't see what is so great about Rupert - I watched him very closely last night to try to see what the rest of you see in him... but I couldn't. He was fine, perfectly okay, but not great (Jane D and even Bradley both outact him IMO). And the hair is just silly.

I think Ronnie (Ronnie MacDonald) is great, shame she is apparently not going to be around for that long. She works really well with Steve.

Definitely something fishy about the Foot Fiddler. How is it that Gail had a long conversation about Phil with Sarah, but didn't bother to talk to David, who clearly isn't happy about it. Jack P was good last night, thank goodness he saved us from any more of flirty Gail.

Flukie I wish you had put that bit about toyboy and his mum in spoiler tags, I like some surprises (no, I don't read the soap mags).

Enjoyed last night's episode- it's great to see Corrie actually watchable again, after spending so many months being a complete turn off!

I loved the scene outside the factory with Danny, Les and Leanne, especially with Sally looking positively gleeful and saying, "Leanne's Miss X!" despite claiming she wasn't interested in gossip before!

Once again Jane Danson put in a superb performance, although I agree with Lippincote about Rupert Hill- I didn't think he was great either; he was just adequate IMO.

I really can't stand anymore of Gail though- her simpering and flirting is really getting on my nerves and making me feel sick! Thank God for David last night, who completely stole the episode. I loved when he said, "you mean coffee as in sex?" And then when he said, "upstairs? Me or him?!"

I'm still loving Liz and her toyboy, and Steve obviously being uncomfortable about the situation! I think good on Liz though, she deserves to have a bit of fun!

What do you mean "even Bradley"? He's one of the best actors in the programme at the moment. He knocks the socks off Debra Stephenson who is very wooden IMO.

I agree, IMO Bradley is very good (and I have often said so on here). I was merely reflecting my surprise at how good he is - when he first joined I didn't expect him to be, but he has been consistently excellent.

I also agree he's better than Debra, who I can't make up my mind about. Her little-girl voice often ruins her performance in dramatic scenes for me, although I don't think she's wooden. I find her a bit up and down, sometimes good, sometimes not.

Great episode again.
I feel like Im repeating myself all the time but brilliant acting from all concerned in the Danny/Leanne stuff.

If he was mine, I'd have smacked him so hard, he would have felt it for the next 30 years

With you 100%! When I heard he was joining the cast I thought it was a terrible idea and I expected him to be awful. On the contrary - he's been consistently excellent. He portrays Danny as a very believable character.

I thought that Debra's low key performance tonight was really excellent and she didn't have that much to say.
