Grant turns up late at the vic and threatens chrissie after learning it's her fault sam is in prison, chrissie tries to attack him with an ashtray then sharon and dennis come on her rescue.

but when he steps in and threatens grant he beats up dennis

there was also a picture of grant and sharon kissing on the same page.

Also phil attacks Ian then covers him in tomatoe ketchup outside the chippy

Johnny lashes out at Grant but ends up on the floor himself

Also Grant threatens to break stacey's arm is she doesn't confess to giving chrissie a fake alabi

Not that I condone it, but I would understand why they would do that. If you were a Mitchell and your sister was languishing in prison because of someone giving the real culprit a fake alibi, I would imagine you would be a tad annoyed about it and do what you could to put it right.

But it is a bit ironic given that Peggy exposed Johnny for stamping on someone's face last week and was carrying on about what an evil violent man he was. Now her own son is threatening Chrissy and Stacey with GBH.

I am sure Johnny had a reason for being a tad annoyed too.

You're right P-B, that is about all P&G are good for, a bit of thumping. That's why I am not sure I wanted to see them return (particularly Phil ). But Tony Jordan claimed they were 'changed men' and wouldn't be going around thumping people to the same extent, don't know why he bothered to say that because it is obviously not true!

Synopsis for Friday 21st:

Johnny oversteps the mark with Ruby. Pauline gets teary at Rebecca's party. Peggy is in for a nasty shock.

Maybe the nasty show is Grant and Phil?

Mondays:
Peggy's refusal to be put off by Johnny's warning lands her in danger. Dennis remains adamant that Chrissie has something to hide, but will Sharon listen?


And Tuesdays:

Keen to make their presence felt on the Square, Phil and Grant pay a late night visit to Johnny and the Vic.

Thursdays:

Phil and Grant's return sends Chrissie and Ian into a panic. Sharon finds herself torn between conflicting loyalties.


And Fridays 28th:

The net closes in on Chrissie as Sharon feels mounting pressure to visit Sam. Johnny has a surprise for Tina and Phil begins to plot his revenge against Ian.
