Yeah I don't rate them that much either. I think they have the potential, but they don't stand out to me

They were diabolical! The next Backstreet Boys? Not a hope in hell.

They made the mistake of trying to sing a Backstreet Boys song so they then got compared and came off badly.

I think they're good but they need to find the right song. They should not let Louis Walsh pick their songs. They're going along with his choices because they're young and want to please him.

They should know enough about which songs suit them best.

Its Simon who picked their song - trouble is whatever you cover you can be compared to the original - they don't really do it for me though....just not my kind of music.

I honestly don't think it matters what song you give them - it'll sound almost exactly the same: They have one tempo and one set of harmonies which they will apply to everything.

They can sing in tune, admittedly, but they lack any kind of charisma or engagement with the audience: They come across as four guys who're entirely besotted with themselves and are definitely style over substance. I didn't buy into the "over rehearsed" remark, it's more a case of their being a shallow, "plastic" imitation of the generic boyband style and they are completely lacking in any kind of individuality or personality.

The only improvement in them I could see last night that at least the backing music masked some of the nastier elements of their "sound".

It's a shame that, with the additional makeweights we have to put up with because of the extra finalists this year, that it'll be a few weeks before they are likely to make their exit.

They were quite bad last night but they have been better in the past. They do come across as quite arrogant though. I agree with Sharons comment about one of the group looking like he was enjoying the moment unlike the other three. Wrong song choice too.

I did not think much of them either, and I cant see them have any success, very much like 888 or D-side of Phixx for that matter.

They were all over the shop. They wont last long, as in a similar way to adictive ladies I think people have got bored with that kinda stuff....

But then again as previous events have shown, the general public dont actualy know what they want (steve/michelle/heaysay etc). Which is why the record labels tell us what to like not the other way around like these shows

They were horrible - all of those boybandesque looks/appeals to the camera made me laugh; if was as if they had stepped out of a time machine from the early 90s.

Eventually all the acts in this sort of show run out of 'last chances'...........
I thought they were poor too and doubt they'll be around much longer.

They've got good voices but they don't stand out! Very middle of the pack for me!

Last night's performancewas OK at best! Quite shaky!

I think they're rubbish as well and that one who's trying to look like Justin Timberlake in his N Sync days - please now, come on - if Justin Timerlake looked a **** then, which he did, then guaranteed you will as well, my boy.

Apparently they must think that song does suit them because when they spoke on the Excess All Areas show (or whatever it's called) they said they had been singing that song for a long time.

I thought they were mediocre to be honest. Their voices are adequate at best. I don't think they have any spark or charisma when they're on stage apart from, perhaps, the one who stands on the left - I've no idea of his name.

In their area of the market, looks do help to sell and they're not a particularly good looking band. I think they're generic and ordinary and don't bring anything new to the table...

I'm not keen at all, and they look like 4 Peter Andre's to me, one's more than enough thanks. I'm bored of that type of act anyway.

Dont agree. I agree the song didnt do them justice, but i dont think it as there voices, more that they seemed slightly nervous. Hopefully theyve got used to the live part now and can show a true live performance next week.

I also think they were very nervous. Don't think they will last untill the end though. I thought Simon should have put 4thBase through instead. They had more potential but weren't such a safe option.

They were good through the auditions and I thought they would do well.. but now cant help thinking they dont seem able to handle the live shows.. and they also look a bit weird.. especially the taller one just looks out of place.. the one with the plucked eyebrows that was at the end, the one that never says much or doesnt seem to sing much..!

I actually think the groups are by quite a bit the weakest category this
year..!...

and also think that 25 and overs are by quite a bit the best category.. they got 3 potential winners.. andy, maria and brenda..! Though not sure where both women will figure with the voting, they are good, hopefully they wont get too big headed and the women voters wont just vote for the guys who they fancy..!

OMG! Calling them smart and professional What a gross insult!!!

Do you have a braincell?

What's wrong with being professional? More people, particularly those in the industry and the media or trying to get into it, should try it.

How ironic that you should bring up one of the people I was referring to

Sorry but I fail to see what is gracious about running to the press. I also fail to see anything but two-facedness in giving one impression in live interviews (as well as asking for questions to be vetted and refusing to have the other side of the story put to you) and then putting your name and face to something completely different in the press.

Good riddance to the annoying, aggravating, screaching, whingeing, sickening, self-important piece of mutton.
