Emmerdale - Sunday 16th October/05
Drifter

Loved the 80s party All those scenes were great...liking this Ethan/Laurel thing too.

The rest was kind of nothing, but still alright. Really liking Jo.

I know he's no oil painting but there is something sexy about Ethan

The Ethan and Laurel stuff tonight was great - they'd be a lovely couple. Mind you, Kelly and Ethan would certainly be entertaining!

Good episode tonight. Wish Ivan had taken more of his clothes off though!

Not keen on Ethan though, the sooner he goes the better, but good episode.

Don't like Laurel and Ethan together.

Loved the girls as Bananarama.

Quite a fun episode and I loved the bit between Tom and Donna. Slimeball Mr Matthew is back to his normal obnoxious self.

So you have a young daughter who is going a bit off the rails, what do you do You palm her off onto a work colleague who has problems of her own and clear off on a cruise.

This is ridiculous, isn't it? Their brother is dead, and a few HOURS later they're back to either treating people like dirt, sleeping with the village tart or huffing at Val's pathetic rumours,. (Work out which one's which yourself! ) It's just so unrealistic. In real life, they'd be shut up in their bedrooms crying, (or acting numb/in shock), for a good few months yet!

Well this is the King family after all, they are all a load of crap including the "adopted" Sadie. Carl baffles me, he just drifts in and out of the storylines with no apparent hold on reality, he's the only one worth any sympathy. I liked the way Jimmy hammered his father with guilt for Max's demise followed by Jack's condemnation but Tom will, no doubt, bounce back to his usual self and Jimmy will be in the doghouse once again while smarmy Matt benefits.

Wow, Rheged, a cynical but magically accurate account!! I think that something should happen to Matthew though, not necessarily a tragedy, moer a shock, to move the twit slightly out of the whole ice-man fiasco.

That would be a good storyline.

And they need to make Carl a bit more exciting. I loev all the Kings, except Tom, but if they're not careful Carl is gonna go down the drain.
